Excellent Doctor recommendation thumbs up!!!!
I’ve been going to Dr Silverstein for 40 years, excellent doctor, listens to you, right to the point, make sure he diagnose you, and if need be medicates and follows up to make sure your okay. Office calls to remind you of your appointment, or need to make one. Always a smile on all his employees, they are very helpful in helping what you need, appointments, medicines renewed, always there when you need them and him. Office staff always on top of things, like you call in a prescription to be renewed they call your pharmacy and renew it as soon as they’re available. If you have a problem the nurse will call you, and get answers through the doctor. No waiting in lobby usually right . I totally approve Dr Bruce Silverstein, as a great Dr. and his staff always there to help and listen. Great Staff.

Blamed me for my alopecia
Told me I “wouldn’t be making such a fuss out of it if I were a boy” and that I “probably pulled my hair out myself”. Went to a young woman doctor instead and got diagnosis and proper treatment.

Highly recommend
Dr Silverstein is my new pmd for about a year. He's been kind, professional and always available His nurse Carolyn is exceptional. They work as a team and everything gets done. I'm an RN for 30 years and I am very pleased with this office. The receptionists have been very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for taking care of me.

Top of the Crop
This office is magnificent. Coming from a busy health clinic, my first visit to Dr. Silverstein was quite literally a breath of fresh air. The office set up is warm, welcoming, neat and clean, the staff is friendly, helpful, diligent and FANTASTIC.I was scheduled and seen quickly for an acute matter and I ended up returning multiple times. Upon first arrival, the nurse was magnificent. Her highlighting qualities were that she was informed, kind, compassionate, empathetic, had an AMAZINGLY welcoming personality. I felt absolutely no judgment from her in the slightest - just concern and understanding. Now on to doc... To say the least, if that nurse was a harbinger to what I was to experience with doc, I knew that I was in the best of hands. Dr. Silverstein is all the aforementioned qualities possessed by the nurse, he does NOT sugar coat anything (I need that), and he did my own blood work himself. My only concern is his possible soonish retirement. A paragon of a MD office

I would like to give less than a 1 star
Terrible experience, manager and reception are not friendly people. Not caring at all. I had a balance that I new nothing about and was DC and never received a letter of DC. I called to make an appt and was told I was DC for a past due balance. Tried explaining that I new nothing about a balance and no bill from there billing company who also is not a good company.

Receptionists (especially Marissa) & nurses were kind and caring. Only saw Doctor Silverstein about 3 times. I wasn’t comfortable with him since day 1. He talks down to you and was condescending. For several years, I saw his PA, Jaclyn Snyder. I really liked her and was glad I was seeing her instead of Dr. Silverstein. Jaclyn was thorough and caring for a long time, but when I developed more issues and had to see her more often, she seemed to change. I would ask about another issue I was having during an appointment and she said she will only deal with one thing at a time and I should make another appointment. So it would take about 3 months to deal with 3 important issues. Then she seemed a bit cold and treated me like I was too much trouble for her and told me I should see my Specialist. He told me my Primary should be able to take care of it. I felt like a ping pong ball. Had enough when I had to go to the ER. They helped me find a new Dr.

Just don't. This guy is rude and condescending. He doesn't listen to you and treats you badly. He's all about the $$. And if you question him or his staff about anything, you can expect a letter that they've dropped you as a patient. That letter was the BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME. Thank you!!

I did not like the way he spoke to me and consistently turned the conversation away from me and all about himself. He billed me extra for my annual visit, even the billing person agreed that the additional charge was bogus but he would not credit me for the "extra" conversation that was clearly part of the annual.

Worsssst md in Syracuse! 100%. Told me to make another appointment for an issue I was having the day of a visit? Could have checked it that day. Came back the next appointment and he didn't even remember why I was there. Does not seem knowledgeable about anything beyond common colds. He must have got his degree off of the internet.

Saw “Doc” should say house complex guy since before he had his practice. He is a good doctor but he front end staff needs to learn manners and HIPA laws about discussing patient information out load. what a disgrace of a place to be called medical professionals. I not recommend this to anyone and will let others know to avoid.

I was seeing this Doctor for many years after he was my fathers doctor and he knew of my fathers health issues and he was a decent doctor and I had an appointment one day and Dr. Silverstein had called me various names and accused me of things which are untrue. A few days later I received a letter in the mail that he will no longer accept me as a patient at his office anymore and never gave a reason, just that I am no longer able to see the NP or himself there again. Highly unprofessional and very disturbing of being talked to the way he did. Would not recommend him ever again.

What a horrible doctors office. Needed to switch my doctors since moving, but what a bad idea that was! I saw Jaclyn Snyder and though she was very nice, she would literally write you whatever script you asked for. Didn’t even care to ask why I was feeling a certain way or why I felt the medication wasn’t working. Then I go for a yearly checkup and am billed FOUR different co-pays for something that is covered. Called and complain and the receptionist AND manager were nothing but rude saying it was my insurances fault when in fact I had already called them and they told me the doctors office coded things wrong. Then they went ahead and did a test I gave no consent on and proceeded to call me a liar when I called to dispute it. Paid my copays and vowed to never go here again. However I needed a refill before I found a new doctor and when I went to get one they pulled the ref rill script at my pharmacy and told the pharmacy I was no longer a patient. Horrible place, will NEVER recommend.
