Rude staff - NOT flexible
We were a new patient and were sent paperwork to fill out in advance with a note to come 30 minutes early to fill out new paperwork. We completed paperwork and showed up at our appointment time. The receptionist was rude and told us we were late. I explained that the paperwork was filled out and we are on time for our appointment. She went to ask the doctor if he would still take us and either she didnt ask or the doctor said no. She was only gone for about 3 minutes. I guess it is okay for patients to wait 4-6 weeks for the appointment but they cant take an appointment time AT the appointment time - there was no need to come early, all paperwork was filled out and took about 30 minutes to fill out in advance. She said sarcastically that we would have to reschedule and I refused and left. I do not recommend this doctor's office.

I've been a patient for a few years now.. Every time I see him, he seems to care even less. Maybe if you don't want to help people, don't be a doctor? Auto mechanics spend more time discussing car problems with me than Dr Burns spends discussing medical problems.

I've gone to Dr. Burns for several years. He seems to have lost his edge. It's like he's just going through the motions of his practice. He seemed more with it before he moved to Esse. Not sure what that's all about. The nurse practitioner doesn't seem any better.

Not consistent in checking lab results - I have found I need to remind them that things are due. Had recent diagnostic work done and was given a response of "up to me if I wanted to see a specialist or wait". Based on what the specialist said, I should never have waited to see someone with my medical issue. Very, VERY disappointed as they do not seem to care about their patients, nor are they consistent in checking people out. Am desperately seeking a new doctor, will not go back here ever again

Sad to say, but this is a man that seems to have forgotten why he became a doctor. Time for us to re-evaluate our choice of doctors too.
