i HAD AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE Dr. Tom Eastwood!! But found out that he was retired!! So, I had my appointment years ago with Dr. Hanysak for my hernia!! He came in , then left for a few minutes, came back, and said!! I guess you know that you are behind a year on your colonoscopy!! I replied, No, but that is for your people to keep up with!! Then, when I told my wife what happened, She replied!! Well I'm three years behind on mine!! Double whammy!! So, here we both are about 5-6 years or more behind!! And, I am very upset about this!! They need to learn how to run their business a lot better!! PERIOD!!

I went to WGEC recently for a colonoscopy. Everyone with whom I dealt--including Dr. Hanysak, nurses, and staff--was kind, supportive, and affirming, and it helped make an otherwise unpleasant procedure far more tolerable and less nerve-wracking. I would not hesitate to use the practice again in the future if needed.

I have been treated by Dr. Hanysack for 7+ years, had procedures done, etc. He is one of the nicest, most caring doctors I've ever been to. He listens to you and tries the least invasive treatment possible. While he is on the conservative side (thank Goodness), the last visit we had (when I was at wits end), he promptly referred me to a surgeon...the last resort. He will always be my "go to" gastroenterologist.

He is confident and trustworthy. I am comfortable with his knowledge and skills.

I like Dr Hanysak very much. He's kind, listens well, is willing to talk to you until you understand him. HIs medical assistant is great and The greeter/receptionist and the office girl you see when leaving are good but the rest of the office staff works harder at NOT doing their job than if they'd just do their job. The insurance handler won't work with the insurance company. Any scheduling can be wrong....just a ridiculous experience.

Waste of time. Was given the run around. Waited months just to be told that a procedure could not be done until another procedure was done. Why did they wait until I came for the procedure to tell me that? They could have called a month earlier when I scheduled it. Each appointment I had, nothing was done. I can only assume it is laziness and/or arrogance. Don't waste your time, money, or happiness on this business. They would rather allow you to suffer than do what is right. $$$ trumps all.
