Rude and Condescending!
Very rude, yelled (loud voice yelling) at me and was VERY condescending. My neice (a social worker) was with me and was shocked by the Doctor's behavior.

I was referred to Dr. Jewett because I had been dealing with persistent pain on my right side of abdomen for several months. Despite the fact my mom had had ovarian cancer and I had dealt with endometriosis in the past, he said "his many years of experience would not give him any reason to go in and perform exploratory surgery" and that it was a pulled muscle. It actually turned out to be my appendix was up way higher than it should be and attached to the side of my abdomen. His experience = 0

Dr Jewett made sure that prior to my I and my family had all the information needed. He explained the procedure, risk, outcomes in patient-friendly terminology. He was very generous during the pre-op visits to ensure I understood and to address any qusetions. His surgical technique was excellent and the results were all that I could have asked for.

Doctor Jewett treated me for breast cancer. His care is outstanding. He ensured with each visit myslef and my family understood exactly what was going on. I felt very confident having him for a surgeon and felt like he treated me as if I were a family member. In addition is staff is outstanding
