Where to begin? I could write forever about Dr. Mejia and his amazing care and knowledge. I have lived in many cities, such as Dallas and Oklahoma City, with so many wonderful physicians. I have had excellent care, but none have compared to Dr. Mejia...he surpasses them all. He is never rushed, takes time to listen and truly hear what you are sharing with him. My family is full of physicians and health professionals, and I am so aware of what it takes to practice medicine these days. The stresses are huge. Dr. Mejia's love and joy of caring for his patients always is present, no matter what. He is an amazing diagnostician, and is truly a partner in my healthcare. His new location and practice are ideal for the kind of physician he has dedicated himself to be. Thank you is not enough, but he knows how much respect I have for him. 100% recommend!

My husband and I saw Dr.Mejia yesterday and were so happy he accepted us as new patients. He was everything we wanted in a doctor!!! He was extremely nice, didn’t rush us, was very thorough and very intelligent and informative!!! Never want another doctor!!! Absolutely the BEST!!!

He always listens to your concerns. He knows his patients well. His staff are always helpful. They get your medication refills done promptly. They work good together as a team. I'm happy he has his private practice now. We will always follow where he goes. When you have the best you can't settle for less!

I’m devastated the he is gone. Never have I had a doctor talk to me and listen the way that he did. He is hands down amazing.

the staff is terrible tho never gets refills called in, I have to call for results of tests, they just don't do their job they stand around and talk a lot

Dr Mejia is one of the most outstanding, and caring physicians I ever had. He is every personable, ask the right questions, and has a wonderful bedside manner. There is not enough praise I can give this man, he is a true professional with a sense of humor. His head nurse, on the other hand is negligent. Calling in a refill on a prescription may take 3 or 4 days if at all. As a cancer patient I need my medication. She is unfit to fill the position of head nurse, and should be replaced.

Dr Mejia us by far the best DR around followed him also to Shannon Clinic...The problem is as mentioned somewhere on another review is the staff. I cant understand why the nurses seem to hate everyone/ My medications are simple to call in and refills. But the staff can never get it right. The person whom I speak with just does not Follow through. I do not think the Dr. knows what goes on behind his back. They cannot even prescribe anything

Absolutely love Dr. Mejia. However, something bad wrong with his staff. I have had great difficulty with his office both at Community and now Shannon. I like him so much as a doctor, decided to follow him to Shannon hoping there would be a change. However, seems nothing has changed. When calling for simple RX renewal, do not hear back. Repeated calls garner no results. I know others who have the same issue. Also, very long waits for appointments.

Loved Dr. Mejia! Ended up switching doctor's because of the receptionist and how long the wait always was. The receptionist is rude, never smiles and you can tell she hates people and her job. Worst receptionist I've ever seen. The nurses are super sweet! The wait was long, but he is a obgyn as well as a family practitioner. You can't fault him for that, but just be aware. You can tell he loves his job and his patients though.

Most amazing, thorough doctor that Community had. Big win for Shannon. Best doctor in this town. I will be following him!

Dr. Mejia is amazing his ugly bitter insecure receptionist.........BEWARE she never smiles never is professional nurses and Drs Amazing Michelle needs to leave
