Showed Up Late
Waited 3 hours before I decided to walk out. Dr. Bryan Thompson strolled over with his arms crossed laughing asking why I was leaving. I told him 3 hours was an excessive amount of time for a patient to wait. He admitted that he arrived to work late and his first patient took over an hour. He said I had two additional patients ahead of me which meant I’d likely be sitting there for an additional 1-1.5 hours if things went perfectly. I left. If Bryan Thompson is unable to maintain his work load and/or show up to work on time, then he needs to drastically reduce the amount of patients he sees daily and provide the very basic care expected from this institution.

Have you ever had a doctor call you after 7:00pm to discuss test results? Have you ever had a doctor call you on a Sunday evening to discuss tests and upcoming appointments? I have!! Dr Bryan Thompson is a caring understanding doctor who goes that extra mile to let you know exactly what is going on with the testing, the results and what to expect. If I could give him 10 stars, I would!

After a previous bad experience with “Gastro One” (Not the Doctor) in 2017 and realizing that Gastro One seems to have the monopoly on Gastro Doctors in Memphis, TN, I booked another appointment. Today’s appointment went much more smoothly from the “Gastro One” side of things. Doctor Thompson was prompt, through, understanding, and allowed me to give him the long version. In summary, I was pleased with the service I received today and it was nice to see the doctor again that fixed me before.
