She's in the wrong line of work.
Horrible with patients. She might be good technically (who knows) but she clearly has an issue with patients. Dismissive, cold. She struggled to even make eye contact. She discounted my concerns, would not listen to me explain myself and failed to take the time to explain things and treatment options. Why does leadership of the practice allow this to continue?

Not very caring. Dismissive. Cold.
So so. I felt like a lab rat. She took almost no time explaining how I can treat my condition. Gave me a printed sheet of instructions and sent me on my way. Did not take the time or effort. If I need to go back, I will ask for a different doctor.

Coldest doctor I've ever met
I have seen Dr. Wajda twice for ocular migraines. The first time she was cold and dismissive. I was having spells of losing vision in some spots, extreme sharp pains, along with debilitating headaches migraines in the eye forehead area. After waiting over an hour, she told me I wasnt in enough pain and there was nothing wrong with me. The second time I saw her was about a year and a half later. Still suffering the same pain, except much worse ..And a few additional eye symptoms. One eye hurt so bad, I thought it was going to detach. I waited over two hours past my appointment time. She came in and told me my eyelashes were too long, and clearly the issue is migraines and I need to see my pcp. Six or Seven months later I get a call from the office, to come in for my bo tox injection. I never scheduled one. They saw someone else three months after they saw me, and scheduled their bo tox appointment in my name. What an unprofessional disaster.

Dr. Wajda, has provided exceptional care
Dr. Wajda has provided exceptional care in my eyelid procedure. Her professionalism and expertise in her field are evident in the quality of her work. Additionally, the entire staff demonstrated a high level of respect and professionalism throughout my experience, contributing to a positive atmosphere. I have noticed significant improvements in my peripheral vision, and my surgical sites have remained clean, with healing progressing remarkably well.

I have been with Dr. Wayda for several years. She is clearly a skilled specialist, and I trust her judgement completely. My one negative comment is that she is frequently late for scheduled appointments, sometimes more than an hour late. I fully understand that as a specialist, she can get called into emergency situations that put her behind schedule. However, there is no effort to communicate the delay to patients, give them an option to reschedule, or apologize for the delay.

Requested an Emergency Visit
While on duty for emergencies at her group, after 3 calls, repeatedly refused to see an elderly patient with an extreme sentinel event happening. Patient forced to go to the ER at peak of Covid infections. No eye doctor at ER. But after nearly four years of trying, this same group failed to diagnose that I had secondary cataracts after cataract surgery, done there, 2 years prior. New doctor immediately diagnosed this. One visit after a 6 week wait, useless and the woman has a bad attitude too.

Very good surgeon
Doctors are very busy and are not there for social hour . That being said , I recently had eyelid surgery and a left brow lift .Doctor Wajda did the work . I was amazed at the job she did . Very clean cuts , no bruises and done in a timely manner . The staff were exceptional, the facility was very clean and comfortable . If I need this service again I will definitely go to her .

I am having surgery in the next couple of weeks with Dr. Wajda and I am completely comfortable with her qualifications and experience. When I had my initial appointment with her I had to wait 1 1/2 hours to see her (no staff came in to see me to apologize or update me during that time). When Dr Wajda did come in, I was extremely upset and I think Dr. Wajda just wanted me to be able to leave, so it was a quick conversation as to the surgery I needed, but no explanation beyond that. My husband had the same surgery in the same office with another surgeon and was shown photos and asked what he was looking for, etc. It took WEEKS for anyone to get back to me (after my calling them) (again terribly short staffed and new staff). I understand these times are difficult for both doctors and patients - but this was still a most difficult experience.

I recently was seen by Dr. Wajda on 4/17/20 for eye allergy symtoms, My eyes were very dry, itchy, and looked inflamed, were very irritated. She appeared very confident, asked questions, suggested treatment aids, and prescribed eye drops and another eye drop that just became an over the counter med. I felt comfortable with her treatment, she was very quick in her manner, but I felt that she was very sharp in her work.

Terrible bedside manner and aggressive energy. She interrupted me multiple times and at one point she told me to be quiet while she was doing the exam as if she couldn’t answer a question and look at my eyes at the same time. Overall she left me very nervous, my heart was beating and racing when I left the office. It was just a terrible experience, and I had to wait for several months for the appt. I will find a new doctor.
