I have been seeing Dr. Weaver for many years and while I don't like reporting negative information, his interaction has gotten poorer over the years and now I need to find another doctor. He seems to not listen to my concerns, does not answer easy to answer questions, seems to be short on time, and tends to argue about everything as if he knows it all. Seemed impatient and unfriendly. I really think his physical exam was cursory and a waste time. He even verbal pulled rank with a nurse practitioner, Joana Sun who is excellent and detail oriented. I tend to believe her advice from other research I have done. The only downside she is not allowed to be a PCP. I am in a tough position. How do I find someone who has a better patient interaction and concern?

The appointment was for 11:20 am, I was asked to report at 15 mins before the appt. When I booked the appt, they told me it would take about 20 mins with the doctor. I checked in around 11am and was shown in 5-10 mins after that. I sat and waited and waited and the doctor shows up finally at 11:40am. No apologies for tardiness. He asked me about my condition - he proposed the solution (well and good) - but always wanted to leave (stayed for total of 5 mins) - not interested in my questions.

Gave the exact some (word for word) twenty minute spiel every time I saw him, no matter what the purpose of the visit nor what comments I made. Pretended to great expertise on topics but could provide no real detail on them. It felt like he had burnt out a long time ago and was running on auto-pilot.

I have met with him several times and I always felt weirded out. He seems very uncomfortable and I felt uncomfortable too. He acts likes he's my buddy and he doesn't even know me. I have requested referrals for simple things outside of his expertise and he always requests I come to see him. Feels like he is looking for additional income more than concern about getting me the care I need. I could be wrong. It is just the feeling I get.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I saw him due to last minute reschedule and he basically did not even talk to me. I cannot believe that this guy is a doctor and is gainfully employed in the health-care industry. This just goes on to show how broken the health-care system is. Please avoid him and maybe if no patient wants to see this guy, PAMF (a monopoly in Sunnyvale?) will get the message.

Dr Weaver ordered an annual physical including blood lab tests. Despite repeated calls to his office and emails to their website to simply have lab results shared with me, ensure no health issues/etc, I got no response. I would not recommend this physician.

In my 2016 annual physical with Dr. Burton Weaver, I inquired about doing a chest X-ray. He said routine X-ray was not needed. Nearly 3 months later, I was diagnosed with a lung cancer.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. During your physical , even if you mention is wrong with your health, he would bill it to you and send you a hefty bill. He is rude, least interested in your health and you, and would make no effort to make you feel comfortable. Never, ever go to him

Condisending, holier-than-though attitude, and disingenuou. His time is all that matters and does not disclose that he is racking up your bill by asking questions outside the scope of the stated appointments until you get you bills. Do not go to this doctor.
