Dr. Byron Buckley, MD

Dr Buckley stood at the door and asked me why I was in ER. I explained I had the worst headache ever in my entire life. He never touched me which his notes stated he did a full exam and those are lies! He never did any neuro exam. Spent less than 5 minutes and just said he would order a CT with contrast. The next time I saw him he again stood at door way of room with his work bag over his shoulder and said he is headed out but everything in CT is normal and is sending me home. I had blood pressure taken once in Triage which was 169 129. I was never hooked up to a monitor and I had to ask my nurse to check my blood pressure again as he was handing me my discharge paperwork! I was never given a neuro check by anyone at Sharp Memorial ER. I also told triage nurse I had chest pain and didn’t get an EKG until an hour and a half later! This is absolutely ridiculous! How they received any awards is beyond comprehension! I will never go back to Sharp Memorial ER nor EVER recommend Dr Buckley!

After seeing 4 doctors in 4 days, Dr. Buckley was the only one who was able to determine the cause of my symptoms. He was thorough, included my husband in explanations

Seemed too busy to listen, did not order MRI as recommended by CT results. As a afterthought asked if I wanted pain meds. Told to follow up with my primary care doctor even though I am still in pain and a 23mm size whatever was found on my pancreas. I am still in pain & nauseated.

I spend six hours under his care and it was terrible. He discharge me by telling me he did not know what was wrong with me. He was rude and uncaring. Talk with me once initially did not see him again until he showed up to send me home.

I SPENT 4 HRS AT SHARP ER: WAS WALKING IN LOWER LEVEL OF APARTMENT COMPLEX: A CAR LITERALLY BACKED UP INTO ME. I SCREAMED, LANDED HARD ON CEMENT. I ALREADY SUFFER FROM BACK & HIP PAIN, CHRONIC. I WAS DOWN ON CEMENT. SOMEONE CALLED POLICE & AMBULANCE. DRIVER HAD NO CAR INSURANCE (WHOLE OTHER ISSUE). DR BUCKLEY SPENT ALMOST NO TIME W/ ME. I BARELY SAW HIM. ALL HE CARED ABOUT WAS ORDERING TESTS- CT OF MY NECK, BACK, XRAYS. DR DIDN'T NOTICE BRUISE ON MY BACK, I SAW THIS MYSELF AT HOME.
