Find Someone Else
Considering all the negative reviews on this guy, it makes sense. All that staff and he still can't keep an appointment. Probably the most soup sandwich Doctor in all of South Carolina. If you get a referral to see this guy - do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. Anywhere.

Avoid
Showed up for appointment on time, told he was running two hours late with no explanation and I could not leave or I would lose my appointment. If I rescheduled, would be November. Many, many elderly sitting around painfully to wait for him -- one who was called shouted "Thank God!". Wouldn't subject my parents to this kind of treatment.

Great Doctor. Super caring and thorough. Recommended by my primary care doctor and super happy. Been seeing him for about 2 years. Don’t believe the negative reviews here- probably people who don’t completely understand what is going on.

the likelihood of our family recommending Dr Perry is slim to none. When we saw that my husband was having additional problems, we would call the office and, explain the situation and the the nurse/assistant would say that we couldn't see the doctor and that if my husband didn't improve, we shoul d take him to ER. Well, we did take him to another ER when he was in distress and the dr's there told us more in 7 days that Dr Perry did in 6 mo.

Dr. Perry is one of the most caring doctors I have ever seen. Saved my life. When diagnosing my cancer (caused by years of smoking, who knew right?) he was quick to refer me to a surgeon and oncologist. Read a previous review that made no sense. Person said after a "definitive" diagnosis of cancer was never called for biopsy. How he made a "definitive" diagnosis before a biopsy is funny- the person who wrote this review is obviously confused. Don't trust the negative reviews trust Dr. Perry.

Incompetent and grossly negligent. After a definitive diagnosis of cancer, completely failed to schedule a biopsy despite repeated calls to him/his office/his nurse over TWELVE days. No return calls. No explanations. Nothing. Horrific, pathetic incompetence. Took intervention of an unrelated outside oncologist to get the case referred and get the biopsy scheduled.

Great doctor treating my asthma and sleep disorder. For a younger doctor (40ish?), he has a the feel of the good-old days of treating people. If I could give 6 stars for spends appropriate time with patients I would.

When I was referred to Dr. Perry for my breathing problems it saved my sanity. He is truly a great listener who does way more than look at the computer screen like many doctors today are forced to do. He explains things really well too. I read a previous review by someone named Pat and knew I had to write something. As I read it it did not make sense- if this person's mother died of lung cancer in a month, there is nothing on Earth ANY doctor could have done. Again Dr. Perry is amazing.

I've seen Dr. Perry on many occasions and have never seen a more caring doctor. He truly cares what I tell him and works with me on a plan. He is very knowledgable and always works hard to treat me as a person and not just an illness or disease.

If I could give Dr Perry -10 stars I would. My mother went to him about a lung infection. At the time she was coughing up blood and couldn't sleep but he sent her home with an inhaler and some antibiotics--instead of sending her to a hospital. I googled her symptoms and knew she had lung cancer. Three tests later- he still had not diagnosed her and it wasn't until she was in the emergency room that she was diagnosed. She died a month later. He has no business practicing medicine. Shameful
