Finding Relief After Years of Toe Joint PainFor many years, I suffered from persistent pain in my big toe joint. It was frustrating and impacted my ability to enjoy daily activities. When I finally decided to see a podiatrist, I left disappointed—she simply told me to get orthotics and didn’t take the time to do any further examinations, such as x-rays. It felt like my concerns were brushed aside.Thankfully, I decided to try Dr. Thomas at Foot &Ankle Surgical Associates. From the very first visit, I could tell this experience was going to be different. Dr. Thomas took the time to thoroughly assess my condition, including taking x-rays to pinpoint the issue. He explained my options and provided an injection in my toe joint to give me temporary relief while I considered the next steps.I had my first injections in August 2024, and for the first time
