My first visit with Dr. McCormick was so positive. He was careful to explain every detail of all of lab results done the previous week, asked if I had questions.and we discusssed those. He was not at all rushed, gave me a referral to a specialist for an issue not addressed previously. He was so thorough, kind, and empathetic. I will recommend him to my friends and family.

He's checked out
I have had a refill request at his office for 2 weeks waiting for approval. I have been on the RX since December 2022. I finally got ahold of a nurse last week who said she didn't have his phone number so she couldn't call him and it would have to wait til this week but it would marked urgent. So it's Tuesday snd still nothing. I call and leave a message...again it's marked urgent. Because I've now missed 2 weeks worth if medicine. And they just call me to tell me he said he can't fill it because it's compounded and his license will not allow that. Lol....it's been compounded for the last 9 months! She said well I guess he was unaware.....I said he was sending it to Woodlands COMPOUNDING pharmacy! I know atleast 10 NP's who are writing scripts for this. Bottom line he is leaving town and he's showing up to collect a pay check for the time being. He's not taking care of his patients.
