Overall it was good, however the Dr was somewhat abrupt. Check in was good, but still had to wait to see the Dr.

I have been a patient for over five years and have found him as well as his staff to be very professional, friendly and helpful. Dr. Ramsay has always taken time to explain any issues and to make sure I had a good understanding of them. I would highly recommend him.

Follow up
Saw Ramsey approximately a month ago and he was to follow-up on my taking eliquis and entresto. After not hearing anything for 2 1/2 weeks I reached out again and was advised he had a family emergency and I could expect an answer in a week. Got a text from his nurse yesterday answering one of the medications questions. Communication is lacking.

Looking for new cardiologist – May 26, 2022
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Ramsay?
I went to see Dr. Ramsay after nearly dying, due to extremely low blood pressure to understand what is wrong and how I can get better. He continued to ask me what I expected from the appointment. Besides asking for information about my bradycardia, blood pressure, and enlarged heart, I didn't have anything else as I was coming to him for answers. I decided to seek another opinion as he didn't offer anything of substance and declined to retake my chest x-ray. His staff of MAs are arrogant and of no use either. I will say that I was flustered and angry because of poor directions to his clinic in the information that I received in the mail. It took me 20 minutes to find his office, due to being misdirected three times. When I mentioned this, his staff said that "they have been using that (letterhead) for over five years. They couldn't have cared less. You would be better served to find a different cardiologist.
