Dr. Cara Hamilton, MD

Dr Hamilton was my child's pediatrician until she was 1. Throughout the entire year she was very obviously uniformed about breastfeeding, obsessed with bottle feeding, and gave a lot of unsolicited non-medical advice. At my child's 12 month appointment she would not stop insisting that I needed to wean my child and give her cows milk instead or at least pump to ensure she didn't drink 'too much' breastmilk after I stated that I intended to continue nursing as long as my child and I desired in line with the recommendations from the WHO. When pressed she couldn't give any reason why or cite any studies that reflected her opinion, but continued to insist that it was time to wean.

Dr. Hamilton is a wonderful pediatrician. She has had my daughter under her care for 9 years and my son for 9 months. She is so attentive, compassionate, and easy-going. I never feel rushed, even when I go to the appointments with an actual list of questions. My son has had more health concerns than we anticipated, but she educated herself on the conditions and has remained a great resource for us. Her nursing staff is friendly and very helpful as well! All-around, she is a great choice if you are looking for a reliable and trusting doctor to care for your children's health and wellbeing.

My daughter sees dr hamilton and I absolutely love her. She always takes time to answer question and explains things in a way I can understand.

Frustrating, she wouldn’t stop asking me then trying to “scare” me into doing somethings that I already declined multiple times. I made it clear my child wouldn’t be circumcised but she decided that she needed to ask me again. When she didn’t get the answer she wanted she tried pushing harder. Then instead of asking me why I didn’t want something done she tried to tell me that since I wouldn’t convent to certain testing that I can cause my child to go blind. I would’ve given her zero stars.

Dr. Hamilton is our pediatrician for both of our kids. She’s always kind and takes time to listen to questions and concerns.

Doctor Hamilton has been my daughter's pediatrician for almost 5 years. When we do have to go to the clinic, her nurse and her are extremely personable and knowledgeable.
