Kept insisting we end my dad's life with "comfort cares" even though he wasn't in pain and he wanted to live. She also laughed at us when we be were all be talking be with a neurologist. No to Dr Houle and the neurologist.

I just did some research about my blood clot in my right leg. Dr. Houle told me in the hospital that there is no surgical way to remove a blood clot and that I could be on blood thinner medication all my life, which I don't want to be because who would want to worry about that every little nick or bruise could kill them. BUT there is a surgery called THROMBECTOMY to remove a blood clot. Either she is not very smart or doesn't want the patient to know that is an option which is even scarier!!!

Kind and caring, while very thorough and helpful in a difficult time. She spent time answering questions while I know her staff were expecting her to rush to the next patient and we really appreciated it.
