Ordered An Induction on Birth
Told me he wanted to induce my son due to hypertension (although not severe enough to be medicated for it) and I told him I didn’t want to that I wanted to go to his due date. He said, “Well be prepared to give birth to a stillborn!” I was 26 and naive so I agreed after that. Noah was born epileptic and a few years later we realized autistic. I can’t help but think it had to be due with him being taken out so early. I was 36/37 weeks— original due date was Sept 27, he was induced on Sept 13. It’s only a few weeks, but my experience raising my son tells me sometimes babies need to bake all the way. They used pitocin to induce the contractions which did nothing. A nurse told me later the doctor scheduled me that way because he had a golf trip scheduled my son’s due date. A golf trip.

Dreadful. Every minute of my appointment with dr Britt he asked if I was pregnant. I was 60 years old then! I was worried about uterine polyps. I got a Pap smear and never went back. The office billing put in the wrong code for my visit so the insurance denied coverage. His office chased me for 5 years for a payment I did not owe. Finally blue cross blue shield intervened and called the office to straighten it all out. Today I was appalled to see dr Britt is still accepting patients. If he couldn’t retain information for more than a minute 10 years ago, what will he be like now? I put off seeing a Gyn after that experience - to my detriment. I just had a radical hysterectomy in nov 2020 and have stage 3 cancer and have 6 months of chemo and radiation ahead of me to save my life. Kindly I say that dr Britt should retire immediately.

My experience with Dr. Britt was very mixed but overall poor. He was cordial and reassuring during my new patient visit, but my subsequent visit he was condescending and refused to discuss oral contraceptive options with me, telling me that "most women take what they get." His office has no option for a patient portal and charges the patient $25 to receive a 1 page print out of their results. I would not recommend this provider for any woman who wants to have a say in her care.

He's a very sweet doctor and was patient with me asking lots of questions. He is Knowledgeable and quick and straight to the point. But he may be forgetful so it's best to know what to expect at the appointments just in case something is forgotten. The staff is alright, they are not to friendly. But talk about personal things so loudly you can hear them in a quiet waiting room. The wait time is horrible, there will be people who arrived after I did and go I before me.
