I would guess that the pathology report was correct but billing has been a nightmare. Sent to collections for a bill in which I did NOT receive. You would think that this provider would care more about his reputation and his profession to make sure that patients are actually being sent bills. Can't contact the billing company. The local company doesn't know anything about the bills. At the end of the day, the provider should still be checking their claims and should take some kind of responsibility for the patients final outcome or in this case opinion of the provider. If a provider works for a company, that provides services in a non-profit hospital, and the patient is never billed but receives a collection debt from a predatory collection agency, then the provider still holds some kind of responsibility. This provider is partly to blame. His coding, claims, billing department and lack of attention to detail or proper functioning office all failed. I pay my bills upon receipt.
