Dr. Hartman has performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes and my husband’s. He is a terrific doctor and an eye surgeon who has all of our trust and respect.

I met Dr. Carl Hartman 27 years ago when he did corneal transplants on my Mom. She was blind for almost 5 years and ended up seeing 20/30 with no glasses. It was literally a miracle. Dr. Carl just completed my cataract surgeries. I chose implants that allow me to see both far away and close, without glasses! It’s both wonderful and almost unbelievable. Both offices are filled with kind staff. Everyone takes the time to explain and smile. With their COVID protocols, it’s clear that they really care and are doing a really good job. I’ve didn’t know what to expect, but after an almost 3 decade relationship with SoCal Eye, I should have known that they would be on top of their game. My family loves this practice and I’m glad to be able to share.

Professional and approachable, Carl Hartman is a physician with a serious talent for diagnosing problems and issues. He has a gentle touch and an ability sense when a problem simply needs time. He does not rush into therapies that do more harm than good and he carries himself like a true healer.
