My wife went to him in mid February for nausea and vomiting. He performed an endoscopy.In the results meeting the day of the endoscopy he gave the result which was negative. He then setup a digestive test for a couple of weeks later in early March. To this day, April 22, we have not heard the result of that test from him. We called several times and he still has not called back. I had to take the wife to the emergency room for the same symptoms in early April because she couldn't eat or keep anything down. The emergency room doctor put her on an IV and ordered a CT scan of the stomach area and found massive cancer on her left kidney. That was causing the nausea and vomiting. He immediately admitted her to the hospital and after more tests from a specialist the decision was made to remove the kidney. We still have not heard from Dr. Speer or his office! He is irresponsible and flippant!! I am in contact with 2 Attorneys. Also, I am filing a complaint with the Medical Review Board.

Very patient; VERY THROUGH; listens to your problems; suggests multiple plans of action.

I would recommend Dr. Speer to family members and friends. He spent the time to go over everything that was expected of me after the Endoscopy. He and his team members worked well together and made this experience painless. Kudos to Dr. Speer and his staff. They were very cordial.

I've been a patient of Dr. Speer for several years. For the past 2 years I have had terrible reflux & he's stretched my esophagus 3 times. I've tried all kinds of medications to help & nothing has helped my condition. I was even told that it may be stress related. I was very persistent & continued seeking help from other Dr.'s. I was finally diagnosed with achalasia. I mentioned this condition to Dr. Speer's nurse at one time & she said that it's so rare, she would doubt I had it.

My husband and I have both been extremely pleased with Dr. Speer's professionalism and friendliness, as well as his staff. However, my conversation with one staff member today was upsetting. A subsequent message left on my answering machine was condescending and unnecessary since I fully understood from the first conversation what was needed. I appreciated that Dr. Speer was able to give the new scrip and that was all the information that was necessary; I did not need a lecture.

I was misdiagnosed for 3 years. I never received the full results of my colonoscopy. I was sent out of state for treatment to a center that did not provide this treatment. I tried to dispute my charges due to his errors and the very next day my credit score dropped twenty points. He has no bedside manner and just wants to write prescriptions without proper diagnosis.

Dr Speer is very through and takes time to listen to his patients concerns.

Dr. Speer has been wonderful with me. He has a very caring manner about him and does not seem to get irritated when repeating and re-explaining information. He spent whatever time I needed with him and I never felt rushed, which perhaps explains the long wait times. He diagnosed me with early colon cancer, gave me recommendations for surgeons, and provided followup care. His office staff is also very friendly and competent. recommend him without hesitation or reservation.
