Poor Record Keeping & Service
I signed a medical release on March 22, 2022, terminating my doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Woods, and signed a release requesting my medical records be faxed to my new gastroenterologist. This action was taken because I discovered numerous errors in my medical records, plus Dr. Woods never provided adequate treatment for my medical needs. I placed numerous calls to Dr. Woods' office requesting that my records be faxed to my new gastroenterologist. On April 18, 2022, it was necessary for me to go to Dr. Woods' office to sign a new release to pick up my records and drive them to my new gastroenterologist. I do not recommend Dr. Woods as a physician.

One of the best drs in the nation I wouldn't trust my GI issues with anyone. He doesn't cut loads of lies to you. Sometimes what he says is blunt and hard to hear. But I prefer transparency over lies any day.

Never would I recommend this DR. In fact I reported him. He did a test on me while I was still awake he told me I would be sedated. I was awake the whole time and was screaming for him to stop! He didn't. I suggested to his office that it should be stipulated if you are not under when test starts and you can speak or scream out as you then give the patient the option to stop the test due to the discomfort they are going through! He was rude and never called me for a follow up. Totally ignored!

I am a 14 year colon cancer survivor, who has had several colonoscopy's I moved to Valdosta a year and a half ago, from Michigan. It had been 5 years sense my last colonoscopy. I was referred to Dr. Woods by my primary care doctor. The staff and Dr. Woods made the procedure very pleasant, compared to the last one I had in Michigan. I had none of the post procedure problems that I experience in Michigan. Dr, Woods took time to talk to me and listen to my problem. What a difference.

Problem not with Dr. Woods. Good Doctor. Problem is with his billing practice. I paid upfront $350.00 I keep getting bills and a promise that I will get my refund sent back to me. INSTEAD I KEEP GETTING A BILL. I HAVE SPENT AT LEAST two HOURs of my time. I never get a live person to speak to. At this point I want my records all my bills and a complete record of all billing and payment made by ins and by me.

We have been seeing Dr. Woods for 15 year. Have never had a more wonderful Dr in all my 65 years. He is compassionate and very professional. Explains my condition in terms I understand. So thankful to have found him and his staff.

He was very unprofessional while I was in the hospital, and showed off in front of nurse staff making fun of me ,he is not who he pretends to be. I left this doctor and he went on to write other GI doctor's untruths about me in Hope's I would not be seen by one here knowing I was chronic. Since then I've been hospitalized in north ga almost flat lined by 5 minutes time. Still not on biologics . I do pray for this doctor. And I will be going to a Doctor out of town,I hope he's happy!
