I want to share my experience with Dr. Carlos Garreton, who has been practicing for over 40 years. Over time, I found that my concerns were not being addressed, and I felt rushed and undervalued as a patient. After switching to another doctor, I received prompt attention to my issues. While individual experiences may vary, I recommend considering other healthcare options before choosing this doctor's office.

After describing recurring bouts of vomiting and severe pain lasting for exactly 7 hours I was diagnosed with acid reflux. It turns out my gallbladder was extremely diseased, I had gallstones then one of the stones lodged in a bile duct causing an infection in my gallbladder that led to gangrene. I could have died.

Husband has been his patient for about a year. 1st seen him for a work injury. Instead of the Dr. Advising how much time to take off, he asked my husband how long he'd like to be out of work? Husband asked for MRI, Dr deemed it unnecessary, found a baseball size tumor after insisting on the MRI. Closed his office after being told to go pick up a Rx for pain on Friday, resulting in an e.r. visit over the weekend. Prescribed opioids w/out stool softners which constipated. Needs to see oncologist

Dr. Garreton is personable and friendly. I liked him as a doctor until I received my medicare paperwork. The charges for an office call to your insurance company is just unbelievably high. The insurance won't pay for all the charges and you are stuck with several hundred dollars out of pocket. Beware. . I'm searching for another doctor.

Dr. Garreton is nice to talk with and he can diagnose your problem and prescribe medication. However, be wary. I was charged $659 for an office call and there seems to be nothing a patient can do about such a sordid event. The insurance companies have a strangle hold on doctors but the doctors blame the patients. When it comes to a choice between air conditioning and medical care, I will choose the air conditioning every time. Everything about Garreton and his office is nice EXCEPT the charges.
