Dr Macias did my triple bypass in 2011. As a nurse, I braced myself to have a high level of pain post-op, but I had, literally, none. Two weeks after surgery, I still had not taken any. A bypass surgery will typically last 10-12 years. I’m going on 15 years, getting better by the day. Also, I have been impressed that his other patients have excellent post-op courses as well. Well respected by cardiac nurses. Can’t say enough good about him.

I had to have my upper right lung lobe removed and of course I was scared. He was very upfront and told me exactly what was going to happen. He was very soothing in the way he talked to me which made me feel comfortable. I had my surgery on Christmas Eve and I told him thank you for giving me the best present ever. I highly recommend Dr Macias!!!!

Dr Macias has been following my mothers lung nodules and he did vascular surgery years ago on her. He is very thorough and always explains in detail where we can understand and make decisions on her healthcare. The office staff is always courteous and made sure our needs are met. I highly recommend this office.

I met with the doctor about 2 weeks ago and wasn’t going to say anything, but when I heard from his office today I had to comment. First the Dr was very rude to both me and my wife, and after hearing from his office, Casey was rude also. I don’t know how they stay in business with attitudes like that.

After an angiogram, my husband's cardiologist said he might need four or five arteries by-passed by the cardiologist SURGEON. That surgeon was Dr. Macias who told my husband he'd only be able to confirm how many arteries would need to be by-passed after he got inside his chest cavity during surgery. Turned-out. . .my husband only needed three arteries by-passed. The surgery went very well with NO complications. Dr. Macias has a very calming nature and quelled any anxiety my husband had.
