I can't thank Dr. Macias and his team enough for making this experience as painless as possible, Dr. Macias is a professional with great bedside manners and easy to talk to, I had a great experience with all, from Sylvia the surgical scheduler, with making it easy and answering all my questions, Victoria always answering my 100 calls. Daniela the nutritionist guiding me and Dr. Meance the Phyciatrist is excellent. I hope I did'nt forget anyone. but WHAT A TEAM!! thank you for making this as easy as could be. I Highly recommend Dr. Macias and his team.

Dr. Macias is very rude and unprofessional. My fiancé is going through the Bariatric procedure with Dr. Macias and starting having abdominal pain in her upper right quadrant due to her drastic diet change. We visited multiple ER’s and specialist which all referred her to Dr. Macias. In speaking with Dr. Macias his professional suggestion was to start from the basics and go to the primary care physician and not visit the ER when she is in pain. I advised we spoke with the primary care physician weeks ago about the pain. I advised when the pain in unbareable what else can we do when we have appointments with recommended specialist that are booked few and far in between due to COVID and busy schedules. He made smart remarks like “are you a physician” and “I do not want to talk to you.” I advised I am only trying to help my fiancé who is in severe pain. If I could rate him a 0 I would. He didn’t care at all! His receptionist Sylvia is a sweetheart but he needs an attitude check.

Dr. Macias is a great doctor, very humble and down to earth. He has a great sense of humor and he takes the time to go over any questions or concerns as many times as needed, prior my surgery and after my surgery he has been very supportive and approachable. I highly recommend him. He is the best !

Dr Macias is one of the most awful surgeons I have ever met. He refused to give his patient pain medication after a cholecystectomy was performed 2 HOURS afterwards. He refused to give her nausea medication and wouldn’t provide pain medicine before the operation. This surgeon did not even go to see his patient after the surgery or even discuss it with the patient. He completely lacks compassion for his patients and strips dignity from them. I would never wish this surgeon on anyone. Disgusted...
