I have been a patient for many years now. Dr. Carlos Marrero saved my life even before COVID. I would show this excellent Dr. Marrero all my test results from other Drs. just so he would know everything about me and I wasn't feeling well but he didn't know I had gotten some recent test results ( I always shared everything with every Dr. I had since the confidentiality stuff prevents this). He is the only Dr. might I add kidneys are not part of his chosen profession. That I had to get to a hospital right now he literally saved me and he wasn't the Dr. who ordered the test in the first place. I don't know where I'd be today with out this fine Dr. Marrero being my neurologist I'd recommend him to anyone who just wanted a real Dr. He even worked through COVID when no other Drs would see me he was there for all his patients. Not even my family Dr. Did that. I asked him about it he said saving lives is why he became a Doctor. He's amazing.

Highly Recommend
I have been seeing Dr Marrero for 10 years now and highly recommend him. He saved my life. I had aneurysms which would have been fatal if they ruptured. He goes above and beyond and truly cares about his patients. Kind regards. Michelle

Unprofessional Staff
I was forewarned that the receptionist could be unfriendly. I called to schedule an appointment, and she spent half the time listening to me and half the time talking to someone else while I was still talking. When it was all said and done her exact words to me were, "I'll let him know you want to schedule an appointment and call you back if he wants to see you." I had a doctor's referral and woke up one morning with impaired function on my left side. I need to make an appointment, not wait to see if you call me in the event that he may want to see me. I had my doctor write out a referral for another office, called and immediately made an appointment while on the phone. I've never been told this by a doctor's office, but found it to be rude, unprofessional and uncaring. It's scary enough to lose function on one side, far more have to wait to see if a doctor may call you back to schedule an appointment.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marreros for 20+ years. Initially I was suffering from many issues and was getting nowhere with a clear diagnosis and was even told by one other local neurologist there was nothing wrong with me even though it had been determined by other neurologists locally and out of state that something was clearly wrong. Dr. Marrero however was kind, patient, thorough and very astute and determined exactly what was wrong, albeit rare. I am eternally grateful for his compassion, diligence and intelligence and would (and have) recommend him to anyone.

When i was a new patient they got me in quickly because I was running out of my seidure medication. Doctor is a very intelligent man. Kind. Patient and informative. I felt understood. Nice staff, too. They confirm your appointments and bill your insurance. Cash or check. No credit card co-pays. And monthly payment for large balance.

Dr. Marrero found my problem and I think he is brilliant. He check out all my functions. He used the hammer, made me walk in different ways. He did a very good exam. He asked a lot of questions. He had a few things figured out before I had any tests done. A lot of the problems I went to him for where treated and are not bothering me now. The only thing I can complain about is that it is hard to understand his English. I think Spanish was his first language, if asked he will repeat the answer.
