Dr Velez is a very good doctor. He takes the time to sit and talk with you as a patient and a person. I have never waited more than 10 min for my appointment. The office always gets back to me in a timely manner. I would recommend him highly.

My husband and I had Dr. Velez for many years in Oviedo, Fl. We miss him now that he is in New Port Richey. He is the best Dr. we have had. Anne and Peter

He may be a good doctor, but he does not seem to realize the importance of critical treatment that is needed. I have the tip of my little finger ripped off and surgery is required ASAP. The surgeon .s ready, the hospital is ready but Dr Velez can't find % minutes to sign A paper to get insurance authorization for the procedure . He also withholds authorization for prescription refills, sometimes for several days The office, itself,is also lacking.a profess
