Everything about my experience was top shelf…from the office staff to the surgery center…but most of all Dr. Fernandez friendly and professional manner

I arrived early for my appointment. The staff was friendly and helpful. I got seen early. Dr. Fernandez was most professional and friendly. It was like meeting an old friend. She took care of my problem. I’m very grateful for her expertise.

I had a positive experience at Dr. Fernandez’s office. I called the office for an appointment with Dr. Fernandez, my appointment was weeks away and I asked to be put on a wait list. The staff person told me they usually have cancellations on Mondays. I called first thing on Monday and got an appointment for a few days later. I went to the office; the gate keepers were very pleasant and efficient. I first saw her assistant. He checked my hand and explained in detail what was wrong and what caused it. He did answer all my questions in detail. I did wait for Dr. Fernandez to come in, and she apologized for being late and stated that my time was just as important as her time. She then went over everything again and explained it layman’s terms what was wrong and what the process would be. She was through, easy to talk to, and I felt competent in her answers and what I needed to do to go back to my daily activities.

Dr. Fernandez is so knowledgeable and kind. Although I first spoke to her PA regarding my injury, Dr Fernandez also came in and talked to me. That is very rare with today’s doctors. She took her time and examined my injury and discussed my options. Dr Fernandez even went over my x rays with me. I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend her to any of my family or friends.

Dr. Fernandez explained my condition and the possible treatments succinctly and simply, without the medical jargon to confuse the issue. I would recommend her to anyone that is in search of an upper extremity orthopedic doctor.

I was scheduled for a follow up. It wasn’t needed. I called and left a message. They would not refund it after multiple attempts to address it.

Had surgery for Carpel Tunnel issue. Besides an excellent result the whole experience while not completely painless went very well. Office is very well run, pleasant and helpful staff, getting first appt, setting up surgical appt etc. BTW I ran a multi-office orthodontic practice for over 40 years.

I have been in Dr. Fernandez's care for over four years. She has been treating me for pain in my wrists which I have had for 30 years and had been getting worse. She has been professional and thorough from the start, and I have gotten tremendous relief from the annual injections. It was perfect, professional...but friendly. As far as doctor visits got it was exceptional.

What stood out was that my scheduled appt. Which I made in March for May was not properly scheduled by the office. At scheduled appt both Dr and staff assured me they wld help me get my records from former Dr. When I called to check if they had received the records they had not received them...I wanted to schedule,now over a month out, a tentative appt and I would pick up and deliver the records myself, I was told that that was not their policy, they could not give me a tentative appt....This office has held up care for my hand Since March. I have followed the rules, but they are totally inept. I asked for the Dr, to call me and girl hung up...said I was yelling....NO, just frustrated about rules that should not have applied in this case.... If a Dr. cannot run an office, then I wonder how good they are at medical care. Patients are at the mercy of these non caring Drs. here in Naples.... This office and Doctor both are terrible at professional care.

Dr Carmella Fernandez got me in within 24 hours of my injury. She clearly explained my options after doing an X-ray and MRI. The splint she offered was superior to the one I purchased at the drug store. The occupational therapy she ordered helped me regain my hand function.I highly recommend her as an upper extremity surgeon!

Dr. Fernandez was knowledgeable, professional, calm and caring. She listened attentively, diagnosed my wrist tendinitis and then solved it by giving me a cortisone shot. I had been in pain for almost six months and with her help I'm now able to get back to normal activities. She and her staff are warm and welcoming. Dr. Fernandez is exceptional and I highly recommend her.

I`m a retired physician. I was cheerfully greeted, the waiting was minimal, and I received all of the care I`d hoped for. Dr Fernandez listened well, did a good examination and the Xrays herself. Very efficient and I`d go back again.

Dr Fernandez performed surgery on the double bone break of my wrist. She was reassuring, calm and explained every detail of the break, the surgery and the healing process. Her office personnel are extremely friendly and helpful. Her scheduling is prompt and timely. She explains the x-rays of the injury and repair in an understandable fashion. Can't say enough good things about her.

I had surgery for my carpal tunnel with Dr Fernandez, it was great ! yes great , I had suffered so long with this and finally got it done , if I had known that this surgery would have been so simple been almost pain free I would have done this sooner for sure, instead I listened to all the horror stories of how this surgery goes, but 2 weeks in and I have use of my hand and I am pain free , I'm healed and happy. Dr Fernandez and all her staff and nurses were exceptional from start to finish, I would highly recommend her, she is honest kind and so sweet , One of the the most professional Doctors I have met.
