Dr. Carmen Butts, MD

Butts was a horrible doctor dealing with my breast cancer diagnosis. I received a positive mammogram and not only did she not reply with any written comments, but never called. I proceeded to schedule the diagnostic mammogram & ultrasound, which led to a biopsy order. Dr. Butts neglected to again make any comments about the order, and didn't mark it STAT, which is a normal procedure, and they wanted me to wait 4 weeks for a biopsy. I went to her office, and another doctor immediately put a STAT order in, and 4 days later I had the biopsy. 2 days later, after I wrote to her to ask that she PLEASE call me with the results, she did, and spent less than 3 minutes informing me that I had breast cancer. She gave no other details -- just that I was positive and needed to see an oncologist. She is uncaring, unprofessional, and carless. Don't trust her with your health! My husband I left Butts and have a wonderful PCP physician. And, no thanks to Butts, I'm doing very well a year later

When you sit in the room for the first time, you wonder what kind of person your new Dr. is going to be . . .then there is a knock on the door and in walks a pleasant young woman who is friendly and ready to help you, whatever the problem or malady. I liked her right away. I have confidence in her ability to help me whenever the need arises. She put me at ease because of her knowledge and personality.
