First appointment she came 40 mins late and said no word about it. Second appointment she was not there and the appointment was with a nurse practitioner. I never agreed that, and it never happened to me before with a doctor. Find someone responsible

Worst care ever
Totally ignored my daughter’s masses on her liver. Starting December 2021. Said wait and watch them til January 2023!! In the meantime Jayme Severson found great care with texas oncology and will have them removed July 19. No doctor would leave the diagnosis untreated. But she did. Put her on polar bear enzymes. Laughable for the medical profession.

Pleased to read these reviews
I haven't seen Dr. Landaverde yet. I was a patient of Dr. Wells, and have now been turned over to Dr. Landaverde. It took me a few weeks to verify who my new doctor will be. I'm now being told I won't meet her at my first visit as her patient. It will be a nurse practioner. I'd like to know if I'll ever see my new doctor. I do feel better since I read the new doctor's reviews, which are impressive. I've given a three rating since I've not meet her and don't know when this will happen.

I would recommend her highly as she is sharp as a tack. Not only does she treat liver disorders, she is also a gastroenterologist. She communicates well with the patient and takes the time and caring to consider the "big picture" with what's going on with your overall health.

Great visit. Not long wait time. Spent a goodly amount of time with me and answered all my questions. If I have to go to the hospital, she calls ahead and sets everything up for direct admission. The only negative is her office staff. It seems like they are clueless most of the time.

Dr. Landaverde is very personable, as are her staff. She and I got off to a slightly rocky start, but she responded immediately through a phone call when I called to object to part of her diagnosis; there was an important factor that she had not considered. She was quite receptive and understanding. She is very intelligent and communicative and has never hurried me. Her PA (Meredith, at the time I last had an appointment) is also a peach. However, there is a serious continuing problem with communicating directly with her office. The Texas Liver Institute is based in San Antonio; she is in the Austin area. The San Antonio center makes all appointments. They also seem to have primary access to all records. The SA center is VERY aggravating to deal with. They don't seem to care. After numerous calls, I was finally told that they could put me through to the doctor's office if I requested it. HELLO? I gave up, as all I needed to do was respond to recurring no-response emails.

She did not help me & was not helpful. The diet she wanted me to follow was not very clear to follow. She always rushed me in & out. Would not recommend.

Dr. Landaverde is extremely knowledgeable which helped put me at ease. She explained the plan for my testing and gave me a protocol to follow. I do feel that waiting six weeks for a follow up is too long and I was a little confused about the diet I should follow. I feel that I should have a follow up within two weeks of the results of all my test to ensure I am on the right protocol. MNellie Reyes
