Dr. Perez saved my life/leg by making a quick correct diagnosis. I'm forever grateful.

I waited MONTHS to get my 1st appointment and regret coming here. Terrible communication and customer service. I have been trying to get medication that was prescribed by the Dr for over a month and even after speaking with them, my insurance and the manufacturer who assists with the costs I have not been able to get the Dr's office to help and it was at their suggestion. They also have refused to provide me with my own MRI results which were performed by a company this physician's company also owns. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere with better customer service.

Dr. Perez takes her patients very seriously, always answers and clarifies any questions I may have. She is very knowledgeable in her field of specialty, and has repeatedly made me feel tremendously better after many struggles with Lupus. I recommend her to everyone I know that struggles with the same issues. Her entire staff is kind and personal as well. They never rush you, and are always willing to listen. They definitely put the patient first.

She was my Dr. For 10+ years all of a sudden I get a letter in the mail that she was dropping me as a patient! No reason given! This was out of the blue to me that is patient abandonment!

I was referred to Dr. Perez-Masuelli by my Primary Dr. I have seen her 3 times now and am grateful that I was able to see her and get tests and diagnosis's for my symptoms. We are continuing to evaluate my needs and she is discussing with my other doctor's the course of action needed. She didn't throw medications at me, which I appreciate.

Dr. Perez-Masuelli is a very smart physician. She knows the science behind the disease. She listens to me; I never feel rushed. I'm sure she hears the same complaints over and over throughout the day, but she still treats me like I am the most important patient of the day. I am thankful for her compassion. Her staff is always pleasant when I am there. She has been through some staffing changes lately, and they are still learning, but overall they are a good group of professionals.

Dr Parez.Masuelli in my opinion is the best doctor I have ever had. I have had several RA doctors due to moving country 5 times and I have never been so grateful to have Dr. Parez-Masuelli’s care. I can never thank her enough !

Asked for prescription refill on 8/22. Infusion nurse said doctor’s nurse would send refill request when she got lab results, probably Tuesday 8/23. Following Monday it had not been done. Couldn’t reach the office by phone (receptionist later told me phone service was down that morning) so I went to the office. Stunned speechless by the nurse’s appalling rudeness. I tried 3 times to explain that I needed a 90-day supply, not 30 now and another 90 later. She kept interrupting me, raised her voice, insisted on 30-day supply and ordered me to “lose the attitude” or there was nothing she could do for me. I went back a week later because I needed my second infusion. At that time told the doctor’s PA I did not want refills, that I would be going to a different rheumatologist. Refill order was sent anyway. So I’ll receive nearly $250 worth of meds that I specifically said not to order. Dr Perez herself is quite nice, but with a nurse who is so rude and refill sent in after I said no . . .

Since seeing Dr. Perez my arthritis has been in check with no pain in over 6 years. She takes time to listen and does not rush through my 6 month checkups. I cannot say enough good things about her!

I was nervous since we just moved from Dallas and now I needed a new Dr. For my Rheumatoid Arthritis and take my insurance. Dr. Perez is an amazing doctor I am so Happy that she is my Doctor. She takes her time to listen to you. Her PA is the same way. The young ladies at the Frt. desk are Very Helpful trust me you will not be disappointed. I trust her judgment she is one Smart Lady

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Perez-Masuelli’s for ten years. Dr. Perez stays up to date on new medications and other research and developments in the field of rheumatology. She spends time with her patients to understand their concerns and recommend the best treatment. Unlike my previous rheumatologists, Dr. Perez has provided me with excellent care which has made a significant difference in both my functionality and outlook. I trust her advice and recommend her wholeheartedly.

She is always very thorough with her explanations and gives reasons for the decisions she makes about my care.

Dr. Perez-Masuelli is an excellent doctor. I have always been able to see her outside my regular appointment.

Would not recommend Dr. Perez-Masuelli to anyone. She really does not care about her patients and only cares about money. Save your time. there are some really good rheumatologists in the area, but she is definitely not one of them.

Dr. Perez is great, she really cares about her patients and she's very thorough. Her staff is also very nice and always return phone calls in a timely manner. She is highly recommended.

Dr. Perez deserves 10 stars! When I moved to Houston 7 years ago, I went through 3 other rheumatologists before finding someone with the experience, compassion, and superior bedside manners / patient advocacy Dr. Perez possesses. She listens to her patients and genuinely cares. She engages promptly and proactively with other physicians as necessary. In my 30+ years with SLE, I’ve been treated at Mt. Sinai, UPenn, Brigham and Women’s, and Yale—Dr. Perez beats them all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am extremely satisfied and grateful for Dr. Perez-Masuelli's treatment plan and time spent in each and every office visit. As a Registered Nurse, I am blessed to have some knowledge and to be familiar with many illnesses. I wasn't feeling well; but, could not put my finger on the cause. Through our PCP, I was referred to Dr. Perez-Masuelli approximately 3 years ago. She diagnosed the problem immediately and began an aggressive medical treatment to slow down the progression of the disease.
