Surgery went well, but don’t ask for anything else
In 2015 Dr. Samiller performed a lump ectomy after I was diagnosed with left breast cancer. After surgery and treatment my left breast was much smaller than my right so I needed a prosthetic breast. At that time my OBGYN issued a prescription. I recently called to have him fax over a prescription and was told he retired two months ago, his office staff recommended that I call my breast surgeon to have her write the RX. I called Dr Sawmiller and was told she said she would not write the prescription because I haven’t seen her in nine years. Why would she need to see me? She has my records and knows that she performed the surgery. I would completely understand if I were asking for medication but I just need a prosthetic so I will not appear so uneven. Could it possibly be about the $$?
