Dr. Carolyn Davis, MD

I went to Dr. Davis over 7 years ago as an 18 year old and the appointments with her are still traumatizing to this day. I asked for STD testing because I had a new partner and Dr. Davis told me she “didn’t like to test for HIV because if you have it there’s nothing we can do. And it’s just kind of depressing.” Every appointment she focused on my weight and pushed diet brochures on me and every appointment I left crying. She didn’t seem to pay attention to what I was saying each visit and instead pushed her own narrative. I’m not sure the type of doctor she is today and maybe she has improved her bedside manner. But as a new adult who was just trying to be responsible and take care of her body I can honestly say her care has deeply affected how I feel before any Gyno visit almost a decade later.

I trust Dr Davis. She is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the importance of taking care of my health. The staff are friendly and efficient. I always have a good experience at the office.

Dr. Davis is fantastic. She is professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. She specializes in GYN and no longer does OB work. She and her office always seem to take that extra step with your care. I have had numerous tests and procedures and feel like I am getting great care.

Had a check-up and I received my results via the portal. I did not hear from Dr. Davis until 3 months later. She apologized - but STILL - I do not feel that I received the attention and care that I should have received. What if it was life threatening? Am I supposed to interpret the lab results myself? I would not recommend her for this reason alone.
