I have been a patient of Dr.Shaak’s for 30 years. I liked her from my very first appointment when she was located on Beacon Street, Boston. Your appointment is never rushed and she takes the time to explain things to you and she answers all my questions.

Very knowledgeable. First doctor to look at more than my TSH when evaluating thyroid issues. Careful and methodical, but gave weight to my symptoms—not just a cursory look at basic labs. After working with her for one year, I feel better than I can remember feeling in a long time.

I have been going to Women Well for 8 years. I was referred by my Social Worker at age 50 by Children's Hospital before my son, age 19 would undergo a heart transplant. I have never been disappointed with my care and have greatly benefitted from Organic Hormone Support that I recommend to everyone. I go to the group but I don't have major medical problems so I don't see Dr. Schaak regularly but I have met with her a few times and she is amazing-so informative, so smart, so in touch, an honor.
