Ghosted me after offering email follow-up
Dr. Gunther is clearly highly capable and she also was very knowledgeable about my issue. The problem was that she suggested I follow up with her and she emailed me a referral to a second specialist. I tried three times by email to tell her that the second specialist was not able to help and asking for her advice on whether a particular type of specialist might help, in preparation for seeking another referral. Well, she did not respond even once. I gave up trying; very disappointing, particularly at the premium fee she charges, even in NYC.

Dr. Gunther is thorough and takes a comprehensive, holistic look at symptoms, test results, medical history and her own assessment after evaluation to come up with a focused treatment plan. She is very sharp, a good listener and has an excellent bedside manner with my adolescent son. After going to countless doctors, Dr. Gunther was the first to correctly diagnose and help him. I highly recommend.

horrible bedside manner. does not seem to listen to me when I am talking in session. keeps looking at her watch like I am a burden. but BOY does she want to collect her high fees at the end of the sessions. for what she charges you could do a lot better in NYC. not well versed in medications. seems lost as to what to do with my medications when I have side effects. I am getting a new shrink. not worth the fees she charges.
