My husbands hips
Dr Sanders replaced both of my husbands hips within 5 weeks of each other. Dr Sanders and his staff were very informative and pleasant to work with. We are very happy with the care he received.

Good doctor
Dr. Sanders was nice and explained things well. My finger fracture healed well and pretty fast. My only complaint is wait times where a bitt long for no reason lots of sitting around.

Visits are great! I don't want to have to take her to emergency for a pill. Pain management protocol is archaic

Sanders kept me waiting an hour and 15 minutes for an 8:30 appointment--no explanation or apology. He was unprepared for my visit and had not reviewed the MRI I left a week earlier. In fact, he claimed I hadn’t left one. Once he found it, he couldn’t read it because he couldn’t use the ‘new’ software. He thought my x-ray was 'unremarkable' even though I had recently broken 10 ribs and my clavicle twice--breaks that were obvious even to me. Apparently taking an interest in my condition riled his ego. He asked if I were a doctor and proceeded to spew a bunch of medical mumbo-jumbo. He then prescribed PT at a substandard clinic. Sanders also charges 3-4 times the UCR. If you're looking for ego and excuses, Sanders is your man; otherwise, go to a real doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Sanders and his PA Ben Baird for years for degenerative arthritis in right knees as a result of sport and work injuries. He said from the beginning that I needed a total knee replacement but I could put it off as long as I could stand it. Have spoken to a number of friends that he did total knee replacements on and they have nothing but great things to say about him. He is extremely ethical and explains thing very well. Ben is fantastic also. From the first visit 5 years ago Dr. Sanders said "Whenever you are ready for a new knee, I will be ready." Have been getting by with PT, and cortisone and lubricant injections. I need a new knee now and he suggested OSHU or St. Vincent's because of other health issues. Referred me to some top specialists in Portland. Can't get any more ethical than that!!!

I advised his office as to why I needed to see Dr. Sanders. After waiting 2 weeks for my "urgent" appointment I saw Dr. Sanders. At the visit, after paying the co-pay and paying to have him fill out some short term disability paperwork, he tells me he does not do the type of ACL replacement surgery I needed, and proceeded to talk about himself and his several sick children (he was also very sick) Total waste of my time! I ended up going to Slocum in Eugene... of which I highly recommend!

I received excellent care under the supervision of Dr. Sanders. I was seen a few times by the PA and he was most attentive and informative. After treatments, I was sent to SLOCUM and Dr. Campion performed hand surgery that I can only call miraculous. From the day of surgery on, the relief in my pain was phenomenal. I didn't realize how much pain I'd been in for years. Thank you for your care and your referral!

Dr. Sanders was my surgeon for two total knee replacements. Hi has an excellent bedside manner, friendly and professional. I always had questions and he spent the time necessary to be thorough and expressed himself in terms I could understand. He is a busy doctor but when he is with a patient you're the priority. My knees were a challenge and both turned out to be complete successes, a great surgeon. I highly recommend his practice. His office staff is also professional and cheerful.

I'm a 72 year old veteran who used the federal "CHOICE" program which allowed me to use the services of a civilian surgeon for my arthritic hip issues. I selected Dr. Sanders because of his recent arrival here and use of advanced surgical techniques. After I woke up from my surgery I was simply amazed to discover that I felt no pain or discomfort at all. It was not because of residual pain meds but instead Dr. Sanders skill at avoiding damage to nearby nerves, muscles and tissue.I recommend him.

Dr.Sanders was amazing and so was his staff. After months of having nobody take x-rays to figure out what was wrong and other doctors not calling back to schedule appointments, Dr. Sanders quickly got us in and diagnosed the problem. His staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and punctual.
