Dr. Casey Cotant, MD

I have a complicated history with multiple specialiats and routine check ups at Mayo Clinic, Minnesota. Am I so glad I made the switch to Dr.Cotant! He spent over an hour going over records on our first visit. I could tell he had also spent several hours pouring over them prior to that visit. He knew details and dates, even I had dismissed or forgotten! He must have a photographic memory, as he rarely had to refer to his notes as the hour went on. He not only tested for basic kidney functioning, but looked at vitamin levels, and addressed care coordination with my other specialists. He has followed up with phone calls after appointments on several occasions. He doesn't leave an issue slip by, is willing to answer my questions, and gives feed back during the visit, always followed up with a detailed letter explaining treatment changes afterwards. He is very pleasant and professional.

Dr. Cotant is such a knowledgeable and caring Doctor, and always helpful when I had questions or concerns. Being diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy was scary and uncertain, but he quickly jumped on treatment and 5 years later I am still holding my own. Wyoming lost a great Nephrologist, but Idaho gained one.
