Excellent Results
Dr. Huntsman replaced my left knee in January 2018. I had my right knee replaced in 2012. The difference between healing times was amazing. The first knee I was in the hospital for 3 days and it literally took 2months to be functioning normally. With Dr. Huntsman I felt good enough that I chose to leave the hospital the next day and was functioning well within 2 weeks. If I ever need an orthopedist again, Dr. Huntsman would be my first choice.

The wait time is terrible! To add to that the Dr. is rude and treats women as though they are really dumb and he needs to teach them a "lesson". Not only does he behave that way, but his phone staff are bossy and condescending as well. Just trying to make a follow up appointment made me feel ignorant and childish. Huntsman needs to understand he wasn't ordained a dr. we all pay for his services. It is a transaction. Just like buying a car, or a shirt. We are exchanging money for goods. In the end he is simply producing a product. Except, the product includes trusting him to work on our bodies. When someone treats your mind so unkindly and inhumanly, why would I want you to touch my body? This isn't 1950. We get to decide who works on our bodies. Maybe you need to think about that Doc?

Dr. Huntsman performed surgery on me. I did not see him before the surgery or after. The operating room nurse put the tourniquet on too tight on my arm and caused a massive hematoma from my shoulder to my elbow. It took almost 2 weeks for the bruising to go away and Dr. Huntsman never looked at it. When I went back for postop visits his PA treated me.I saw this PA about four or five times and told him I still had severe pain. The PA never addressed the pain I had correctly. When I finally saw Dr. Huntsman upon my strict request he diagnosed something different than the PA was telling me. This doctor does not take time to make sure his patients are treated correctly. Be careful if you agree to have this surgeon treat you.

In 2017 I had 2 separate shoulder problems. Dr. Huntsman was very knowledgeable about both separate problems and made each situation a success.

I wish I could interview doctors before I see them. Being uninsured I don't visit doctors lightly. My visits to a specialist are planned realizing that specialists are expensive. But I wasted almost $400 on this visit. Dr Huntsman spent less than 15 minutes with me, didn't tell me anything more than my GP did . There might not be anymore answers for me, but I couldn't have been treated with more disrespect. when I doubt my own experience after an appt there's something wrong with the doctor.
