Dr. Casey Prough, MD

Dr. Prough has taken the very best care of me now for several years! He is always very kind and has the best bed-side manner that I have ever had in a Psychiatrist! He truly cares! He is so exceptionally smart! He is careful to know and discuss any medications or med changes with me, making sure I watch out for med side effects and worsening symptoms of my disease! He is a great teacher who can explain the difficult medical lingo in very easy to understand wording. He truly cares for all his patients, but during my appointments I get the feeling that I am the only one he is focused on! He takes as much time as I need with him during my appointments! I would DEFINITELY recommend Dr. Prough!

He is excellent at what he does. He does take the time with you if you are having changes or need the time, but if you are doing great he doesn't waste your time either. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so. He is always on time as well which i appreciate.

Absolutely one of the two best psychiatrists I've had. I am so lucky to have found him. I can trust him completely. He does not judge me. He cares about how I am doing. He wants my input into my treatment. He does not push me into anything I don't want. He is sincere, honest (even when it's not what you want to hear), trustworthy, documents visits well (for social security disability reasons) and keeps up with all treatments that are up & coming in psychiatry. All around, he's an excellent psychiatrist. I really actually trust him with my life. He's literally saved it more than once!

I have been seeing Psychiatrist for a number of years. out of all the different Dr's that I've seen Dr Prough is the best i have ever seen. he is very concerned about how i am doing. he has worked with me very closely to be sure the medications that I'm taking are the right ones for me. when ever i have mentioned something isn't exactly right he has either changed my dosage or changed me to a new drug with no questions asked. not as some Dr's in the past have done told me to give it more time.

Dr. Prough takes the time to listen to his patient and he educates you on treatment options and long term goals are established. He also cares about his patients and establishes a level of trust I haven't been able to have with other providers in the past when it comes to my treatment and recommendations are made for alternatives besides just a prescription regiment, which is in my option something vital to be successful in treating all levels of the patients needs. I have recommended to others.

Speaking as the husband of one of Dr. Prough patients. My wife has had numerous Doctors for over 12 years. I am very impressed by his concern for the patient. My wife has been a patient of Dr. Prough for several years now and I often attend her appointments with her. He is very through and willing to work with the patient to get the proper level of medication and takes a cautious approach as to not overmedicate. He listens and prescribes what he thinks best for the patient.

Dr Prough is doing wonders for my husband, a retired military vet with PTSD and Depression. He takes the time to listen to what he has say and does not rush him out of the office like some other Psychitrists! He works with him making adjustments as needed to medications and monitors blood work carefully looking to make sure no signs of damage arise. I have recommended Dr Prough to several people and would not consider any other Dr!
