DON’T BOTHER
This “doctor” has absolutely no concept of pain, no empathy, no sympathy. She acted like she didn’t understand my MRI, then she straight up lied to me about my condition.

Literally changes what guidelines say to suit her
Charming, pretty, friendly staff I guess is a plus, but when the doctor purposely and wilfully misrepresent the guidelines (basically lying) to suit her and misleading patients as if it's the laws forbidding her from prescribing necessary amount or to force patients to suffer just to get them to get epidurals more often. Now a days patients need to know what the laws/guidelines are but truly understand their health problems. Doctor's in pain management don't have what is best for each individual patient. They have a belief everyone has addiction problems so it's better to have them all suffer than truly help patients with numerous amounts of documentation. Guidelines set for the treatment of chronic pain has a maximum of 50mme per day. They have a conversion factor chart to educate patients. Lortab/narco has conversion factor of 1 so you could according to the 50mme per day (10mg x 1 = 10) you can be prescribed 5 Lortab/narco 10 per day for treatment of chronic pain to meet the maximum

Simply an awful Doctor. She treats people as if they are drug addicts. I had back surgery I asked her for pain medication I never once asked for a narcotic. Her response was "you will experience pain for 6-12 months" That's not an answer. 2 months after being her "PATIENT" I fractured my knee and my Orthopedic Doctor called in a prescription for pain. Imagine my surprise to learn from the pharmacy that Dr. Burns blocked that prescription. Unbelievable! Beware of her incompetence. I wonder what kind of oath she took!

Terrible beside manner
Got progressively worse seeing this doctor. Did absolutely nothing to help. Went for months... changed doctors and was able to get 70% relief from another doctor with no pills needed but just a simple procedure.

I forgot to say this. I am 77 years old. The office kindly sent someone down to put me in a wheelchair and push me into the office. The staff is excellent. After several surgeries over the years, she has a great bedside manner and understands how I have been in pain. Her office is also 10 minutes from me, so I would recommend her skills to anyone.

I have seen her 3 times for 3 different epidurals. 2 cervical and 1 lumbar. She is an excellent physician. These individuals who call her curt and other insults—hogwash. She is no a pill mill-she wants to treat your pain-yes that may require physical therapy. She is extremely thorough. I have had 10-12 surgeries in my life—she is as good or better than ANY physician with whom I have dealt. She is excellent. Don’t believe these negative posts!

This doctor doesnt seem to understand bedside manner. She wants a crippled 75 yearold man to do physical therapy. She also wants to gouge your insurance with unnecessary test. My advice is pass on her and save yourself time. She wants the easy way out with the biggest bill.

She saw me the first time and I was in excruciating pain and she said she couldn’t help till she did xrays and reviewed them which took two weeks. I went back hurting worse than the first time and she sent her nurse practitioner in to tell me nothing showed on my xrays so I wasn’t in pain so she gave me nothing. We asked to talk to the Dr and she refused to come in and talk to us. I went to an orthopedic Dr the next day and I have a crack in my knee cap and my hip keeps dislocating. He couldn’t believe she let me suffer like that. He was so informative and helped me tremendously with my pain.
