Dr. Catherine Cahill, MD

Dr Cahill is a great ortho she replaced both my knees in January. Excellent pre-hab program that got me in shape for success in rehab. Great doc and office staff.

I made myself suffer for years until I got to the point where normal life included excruciating pain and loss of ambulation that finally kept me from travelling for my job. With great confidence I asked Dr. Cahill for a hip replacement. Planned for 07July2020. I will touch base as I go through the process and provide updates. I am completely confident she is a star and I will come out bionic and better than ever (60 miles per week mountaineer, now couch potato because of the pain). I had telemed for the pre-op and had all my questions answered. We tried injections and intrathecal, after having had months of PT and other injections that did nothing to help. I was desperate as I am a wimp for pain. Wish me luck! Next appointments are the pre surgical safety visit with my GP and the pre-op Covid test. I dropped 30 lbs and will aim to drop 20 more before the surgery, close to my healthy weight (very muscular legs). Started working out with weights last week to get ready!

I saw Dr. Cahill when she was at Baylor and I really liked her, she helped me alot with my knees. Everyone there spoke very highly of her and I think that she is great choice as an Orthopedic Surgeon. Sincerely, Tom Wetz

Dr. Cahill (Palisch) performed Total Knee Replacements for me, left in 2014, right in 2015, both at Debakey VA while serving there. Perfect results including the complete dismissal of plantar fascitis (sp?) after the 2nd TKR. I had mentioned having the issue to her for a few years prior to the surgeries and she told me it will go away after the 2nd TKR when both legs would be the same length. She was absolutely right. She is professional, courteous and kind. My wife and I would highly recommend her to any orthopedic surgery candidate. She has provided a new lease on quality of life for me and I highly appreciate her for that. I'm 72 years old now and still play golf quite well at least 2 or 3 times a week. Both knees replaced and after 3 years absolutely no pain or mobility issues. A phenomenal result

Dr. Cahill performed what most would call a complicated total hip revision late 2016. 6 months later I was back on the golf course and walking with no pain. I would recommend her for any hip surgery.

I saw Dr Cahilll (nee Palish) for accidental fractures. She evaluated the condition and referred her conclusion to a trauma specialist. Since they both agreed, she treated me without surgery. Follow up appointments were made in a timely and convenient manner. She was courteous, efficient in the examinations and follow up. Patients who want a lengthy discussion might find her brusk, but I found her "direct to the point" manner to be typical of a busy surgeon.

Dr. Palisch replaced both of my knees. I have known several people with knee replacements that have been unhappy...so I did my homework before choosing Dr. Pails have and I have been so happy. My knees work wonderfully, my scars are minimal and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to anyone needing the services she can provide. She also has a wonderful and caring bedside manner.
