Unprofessional
Very condescending and unprofessional. The visit felt as an interrogation. First and last visit. I would give her 0 Stars if possible.

I have been diagnosed with panic disorder and adhd. I am prescribed an SSRI and a stimulant. I won't get into the frustration of scheduling an appointment at Heritage Valley for her personal review. My usual PCP was out of the office and I had to see Kananen. Benzodiazepines have been brought up to me by another doctor there before, which I have no interest in taking, especially while actively being prescribed a stimulant. I received a medical marijuana card. When I told Kananen about this, she said they don't like to prescribe stimulants to medical marijuana users because it's a "sedative". What is a benzo then? I'm not sure if she is ignorant about this or just conservative, because another doctor at the same office said they would have no issue with medical marijuana and my other prescriptions.

This my second time seeing Catherine and I would not recommend her to anyone. She is one of the worse doctors at this location. I do not want to see her ever again at , I advise when calling to ask for your a appointment with your actual PCP!

I’m not sure if this woman is a medical student or doctor, but she is very unprofessional in how she speaks with patients and the parents of (very judgemental about things she’s not knowledgeable) and in how she presents herself. We have a young child and we’re prisoners there because she did not agree with my child’s diet. Unfortunately, it’s the manner in which she initiated discussions that are the true problem. She wanted to question my intelligence, always rolling her eyes, rude.
