Dr. Catherine Thomas, MD

Dr Thomas listen, is attentive, kind and you can talk with her. She allows you to be proactive with your health concerns. She has been there and I'm thankful to have her as my physian.

I have been a patient od Dr Thomas' for over 30 years. She has always had time for me and is the same as she was when I first started seeing her. I communicate with her through the health portal and she always gets right back to me. She keeps track of all the tests I need to have done and reminds me of them. Her office staff has always been pleasant and I have never had to wait a long time to see her. She is very thorough and is very knowledgeable.

My perception is she doesn't have the time to look beyond standard protocols for solutions when patients voice complaints. It seems the internist is the provider who looks at input from patient's specialists and formulates a plan of care. Are these reviews effective?

Great listener and actually takes time with you.

I had a visit with Dr. Thomas a few days ago. As always, Dr. Thomas is very knowledgeable in determining a diagnosis and following up with a course of action to fix the problem. I have been a patient for over 20 years and I am happy with her care. She is very personable, which is a plus.

Very difficult to schedule ‘sick’ appointment. Must go through her nurse. Took several days for him return my call. Ended up going to an urgent care facility. This happened several times. I have been her patient for almost 25 years. Rarely requested a sick visit (less that 3) during these 25 years! I discussed this with her. She blew me off! Totally lost my trust in her process. I have been in the health care field for many years... I know that this is not acceptable. I changed primary MD’s.

This is a caring, compassionate physician. She works hard, listens to the patient, is thorough, and is a great diagnostician.

Dr. Thomas has always been understanding and treats me just as she would a much younger patient. She listens patiently to my symptoms and does everything in her power to diagnose the problem and provide possible solutions. She doesn't dismiss any of my concerns with the proverbial that's just age related even if it is. I feel very fortunate to have been treated by her for almost 20 years!
