Dr. Cecile Windels, MD

Dr. Windels is incredible. She has taken such great care of both our children. She has made very early and specific diagnoses for both and has referred us to phenomenal specialists who have taken care of each issue. She's come in on Sundays for us sometimes when they've been really sick. She's incredibly dedicated to what she does. She tells it to you straight which I so appreciate because it ensures I know all the facts and how to handle each issue. Can't recommend her high enough.

As a new mom I could not be happier with the Healthy Child. Dr.Windels has been so wonderful with our baby girl and as new parents she has given us great advice. The whole staff at the Healthy Child is extremely friendly, from the front desk, (especially Jane!!) the nurses and all of the doctors. As a new mom I felt so much comfort knowing my daughter was in good hands and I was extremely impressed with their after hours response to my medical questions. Dr Windels has been our pediatrician for years. She has superb training, extensive experience, and keeps up with the latest medical info. Dr Windels' manner is warm, encouraging our children to be comfortable talking with her. At the same time, with us, she can be straightforward and share her observations and her always great recommendations. We have had a few emergencies and she has been incredibly responsive. She cares deeply about her patients and families. (Thumbs up for Dr Bailey too!)

Dr. Windels is a phenomenal physician. It's clear that she is extremely knowledgable, and she takes the time to explain things clearly to her patients. Not only is she an excellent diagnostician, she also is kind and understanding. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

My daughters have been seeing Dr. Windels and the other physicians as well. They are older now and still want to see her. She is compassionate, caring and knowledgeable. We trust no other physicians other then the ones at The Healthy Child. You can call them any time, morning, noon, night and holidays and they are always there. The staff of girls up front are amazing, patient and always willing to help. The nurses in the back are gentle and kind and always sweet and helpful.

Dr. Windels has taken care of my three children for 24 years. She is knowledgeable, thorough, and very compassionate. My children have experienced some complicated medical situations (including hospitalization) and she has been able to accurately diagnose the issues as well as refer to outstanding specialists. I feel very fortunate to have her as my children's physician.

We had been with the practice 10 years because we liked the other doctor there and liked that there was a well room. But, Windels is erratic. She is sometimes acceptable but mostly surly, brusque and hostile. She needs to retire. Something has changed. She is a bitter person now. My children have refused to see her and would ask if they could go to the other doctor (who should leave The Healthy Child and not have Windels tarnish her name).
