On my annual visit; Dr. Grande was thorough and did not rush my visit. I have been a patient for over 20 years and drive up from the Florida Keys. No way would I switch doctors for convenience.

Phone staff came off very cold and impatient. I work full time and had to reschedule my appt twice, receptionist communicated I was being denied care and can no longer make an appt with my gynecologist of over 20 years because their policy states you cannot cancel to reschedule more than twice. Very confused and disheartened. Also, I kept getting transferred without being told where or why, phone staff needs to work on explaining details to the patients so they are not left with questions or feeling like they were being cut off when speaking. Very awful feeling after calling for an appointment. Provider herself is very kind (the NP), I just hope she gets better phone staff. I think the receptionist is dorkis or dalgis. At least pretend to care we could be having serious medical issues and the last thing a patient needs is to hear the staff sigh and be upset to help us.

I’ve been going to Dr Grande for years. I, unlike others , have found her & her staff pleasant. Appointments are easy with reasonable wait time & I always get follow up calls to my visit. (Keep in mind the patient before you may have issues just like you or worse & turns out they need the same time you’re asking for or will need.). As a patient do your part, be friendly, pay attention & be prepared. I’ve seen patients walk in on their cells, not paying attention & acting like they are being interrupted by the desk clerk. Have the courtesy of dealing with your appointment if it’s so important. I’ve seen other staff members smile as they’ve listened in to my conversation that may momentarily have nothing to do with the appointment. Even in 2023, simple courtesy & niceties give you nice results from people wherever you go.
