Dr. Celia Mendes, MD

Office manager is absolutely terrible. Unfortunately she is the only one that can send referrals as the other staff members are not trained to do so.Will only refer to Dr. Jones Women's Clinic which has terrible reviews and I learned exactly why.No answers provided. Lack of communication and empathy throughout. Multiple test done and office visits charged instead of a phone call sharing results that tests preformed were insufficient.No consideration of patient finances or time. An endless money pit. Save yourself the trouble and find another office.

I had a gyn. appointment at 10 am in 2019. After sitting in the waiting room 20 minutes passed my appointment time, I was taken back to an exam room and told to put a gown on for the exam. I sat on the exam table in nothing but a gown, for another hour before being seen. No one came in to check on me, explain the delay, or anything. I am only giving it 2 stars because I love my PA.

Dr. Mendes was my primary OB/GYN while I was pregnant with our son. I was one of the unlucky few who had severe hyperemesis for my entire pregnancy. I lost 25 lbs during my pregnancy and the hyperemesis was debilitating. On a weekly bases, I went to Dr. Mendes' office where I was placed on IVs for several hours. Everyone, including the nurses, could see how miserable I was and they were amazing and kind throughout the entire pregnancy. Had I been forced to use medical facilities at Ft. Bragg, I do not believe I would have received anywhere near the kind of care that I received from Dr. Mendes and her staff. ; Our son was born in 1996; he is now 24 years old and a college grad. I will always credit Dr. Mendes and her staff for literally keeping me alive during my pregnancy.

I've been a GYN patient at Dr Mendes's office for 14 years. In that time she and her PA have taken care of my routine and not so routine care with efficiency and kindness. It's true that in this time period Dr Mendes has expanded her practice to include esthetics and she has furthered her education towards where she is passionate. Yes the office is a bit unconventional now but that is the way of the future. I plan on staying with the practice as long as it is open and I'll be happy to inquire about the esthetics side as I grow up and want/need things to make me feel and look my best.

The staff is disrespectful and rude. They delete bad reviews on Google instead of actually reaching out to the patient and fixing the issue. I haven’t gotten my results and it’s been 2-3 weeks. Do not go here! There’s so many other better, and professional practices in Fayetteville that will give you your results on time and treat you, a patient with respect and kindness. I don’t recommend this practice. Avoid at all cost!

I should have known something was wrong when I walked into her office and all I saw was adds for esthetics. Her receptionist insisted I pay a copay for a well visit which is free. Next after an hour and a half of waiting the doctor put me in a room that was set up for botox. When I told her I was here for a GYN visit she said she didn't do it anymore just her PA and pushed me off on her staff that was running around. She may be listed as a provider but she clearly wants nothing to do with GYN.

Dr. Mendes is wonderful. I've been a patient of Dr. Mendes for over 15 years, I have complete confidence in her advice and guidance, she is always honest with any of the procedures I'm inquiring about. I would list all the procedures Dr. Mendes has done for me, I just can't remember everything. Dr. Mendes has a great staff, very helpful and knowledgeable.

Excellent service with great chairside manner, have recommended many friends to her
