Arrogant, rude, judgmental. . .just to start! You couldn't pay me to set foot in that office again! Arbitrarily changes meds then tells you you're depressed and need a shrink when you all you need is the old medication that actually works, given bqck to you!

Dr. Chaya has an excellent physician. She is very patient, empathic and, gentle. She has the ability to really hear her patient's concerns and never under estimates her patient's concerns, thoughts or feelings.

I followed Dr. Chaya from her residency at EVMS to her Bayview Practice as a direct result of her professionalism and care. She is one of the very few endos who listen, take time to answer questions and concerns, and explain in detail why a specific drug has been prescribed and how it works in your body. She is never rushed in an appointment, which is also a rareity.

Dr. Chaya prescribes medications and does not provide support to her patients with these prescriptions. She directs patients back to their primary care physicians for assistance with the side effects of the medications SHE prescribes. She stated that she is a "specialist" and thus doesn't handle the "side effects." Her LPN is condescending and does not record notes accurately in patients' records.
