After decades of debilitating PTSD, anxiety, ocd, depression, incorrect, irresponsible or ineffective meds and doctors- I feel like I am finally living with Dr. Lobao’s help. He’s brilliant, works WITH me, and genuinely cares about his patients! I’ve been seeing him for 8 years now and his care along with talk therapy has absolutely changed my entire world!

Extremely arrogant "know-it-all" physician. If you're looking for someone who cares & listens - this is not your man. I still suffer from the condescending, cold treatment I received a no. of years ago. Worst MD ever ...

Dr Lobao was fairly nice and usually in a good mood, but he did not listen to my concerns. Every time I was worried about somethjng, he wrote another prescription. I was on 14 meds before I got a second opinion. When I told him I wanted to wean off some of them, he refused. I got a second opinion and they did an 8 hour neuro-psych eval. They not only determined that I was diagnosed incorrectly (I was diagnosed based on a 30 minute conversation while I was detoxing) but that I suffered “significant cognitive impairment due to hyper medication.” In other words, I was drugged to the point where my cognition was significantly impaired. I am down to 2 basic maintenance drugs and have been for a year now without any side effects, difficulties, or depression/anxiety recurrences.

Dr. Lobao is very patient and brilliant in his diagnosis and treatment.

Condescending, belittling, pompous mansplainer. Will tell you side effects are in your head or due to another drug when you are CERTAIN they're due to the drug he just prescribed bc you've been taking the others for years. Will diminish your intelligence when he sees fit to explain a placebo effect though you know already and your side effects are NOT THAT. Will laugh when you ask him a question about the safety of a medication or the way it should be taken and tell you not to worry so much.
