Dr. Cerise Bush, MD

Dr. Cerise Bush from Silver Cross is the worst gynecologist I've ever had. Terrible bedside manner. Condescending and rude. Vibes terrible walked in the room wi a chip on her shoulder, really sweet 1st impression. Since when do gynecologists not check hormones??? She was also mad I refused a mammogram. Told me to see a functional Doctor that she wasn't the right Doctor for me ...um what?! I'm here for my PAP and a breast exam?!?! I would have walked out if I didn't want my PAP and breast exam. NEVER going back! I only chose her because my Primary Dr picked her..she has bad reviews i don't know what he was thinking and I should have double checked before I went. She looks/acts like a tired employee who hates her job and hates ppl.

I got pregnant and unfortunately had bleeding. I called and they told me to watch it which I understand. The next day, I was still bleeding so I called back and they got me in for labs Thursday afternoon, so far so good. They said they would call with results on Friday. Friday afternoon they still hadn't called so I called early afternoon and the office was already closed. I called the emergency line and no one called me back which I was upset by, but as a nurse I understand it is not a true emergency to them. Monday morning I called. They said they would call me when they review the labs. Two hours later, I called again. They said they were having issues with their computers and couldn't see results. Dr. Bush called me at 5:45 pm that night and I was already in the ER because I called my old OB. I waited over 100 HOURS to find out if I was having a miscarriage. No patient portal. I understand things happen with technology, but not one person apologized or was even kind about it

Dr. Cerise Bush delivered all three of my babies. She has always been professional, kind, and to the point. I have always felt like myself and my children were in good hands with her and her team. I have appreciated that she is to-the-point and does not “sugar coat”. This is what you want when you are talking about the health of yourself and your children. Dr. Bush also was supportive in the delivery room and allowed your voice to be heard. She respected all decisions I made throughout all three pregnancies and actively listened to my thoughts and concerns during actual labor and delivery.

I’ve been with Dr. C Bush for 10+ years. As a person who does not prefer “fluff” when it comes to my health, I appreciate Dr. Bush’s honesty, matter of fact demeanor and how she is able to deliver information in a gentle way while still inviting questions- even the “silly” ones. Staff is pleasant for the most part, they often seem very busy, but I’ve never been ignored- always addressed if not immediately, at least acknowledged until they can give their undivided attention.Also she has great rapport with her nurses and team at Silver Cross. They are enthusiastically excited to see her and many also shared they delivered with her as well.

Dr Bush WAS my gynecologist for several years, I put up with her horrible bed side manner and ignorant staff because it was a one time visit once a year. I was experiencing abnormal bleeding that scared me so I scheduled an appointment with Dr Bush. After dealing with her negative snippy attitude and, making me feel stupid, her diagnosis was stress or the covid vaccine that was causing my bleeding. I was NOT sent for any further testing or exams. The bleeding continued so I made an appointment with my family doctor. My doctor sent me to the hospital for further exams and blood work. Turns out Dr Bush's diagnosis was INCORRECT, I'm suffering from a thyroid condition that's causing my bleeding. I've been put on proper meds and my issue has gotten better. I do NOT recommend Dr Bush, unless you want to feel stupid and like you don't matter.

I have been seeing Dr.Cerise Bush for many, many years and have nothing but positive things to say. She is a wonderful Dr. Has Great bedside manner very sweet and gentle .Very easy to talk to .Feel very comfortable. Have been to several others and she is the BEST God Bless you DR.CERISE BUSH

I was looking up Dr Cerise Bush's hours and I stumbled across these reviews. I have to say I couldn't believe the reviews I was reading. I've been seeing her for 5+ years & feel she provides excellent care. Recently, I had to go see her, so I thought I would document my experience - play by play. Called the office to schedule an appointment, was concerned about a change in my breast. Call lasted 58 seconds and was able to get an appointment the next day @ 10am. I arrived for my appointment at 9:55am and was taken back to the exam room within 11 mins. Dr C Bush came in within 15 mins. I told her my symptoms, she asked questions and examined me. She was able to calm my nerves and provided advice on the next steps. She's direct, she doesn't waste my time with useless chit chat and I was out the door. Total appointment time from time arrived to when I left, 48 minutes. This is my kind of doctor. Efficient & effective. All of my appointments have been this way for over 5 yrs.

Saw Dr. Bush for the past few years, only ever for my annual pap, not for any OB appts. Her bed side manner leaves a lot to be desired but for only one time a year that can usually be overlooked. There was usually pushback with any request I made, especially for referrals for mammograms. My insurance just recently changed policy so no referral needed anymore which helps that situation. Today I had an appointment at 5:30pm. At 6:15pm I had still not been called back even though another person in the waiting room had been called back before me, with a later appointment time. I asked the desk staff how much longer and was told at least another 15 minutes to get into the room and then possibly another 30 minutes to be seen by Dr. Bush. I then decided that my time was worth more and left the office without rescheduling. I will be acquiring another doctor for future appointments. My time is just as important as her time so if you don't mind wasting your time, she is the doc for you! Good lu

Dr. Cerese Bush was awesome to say the least she was very caring and very informative. Long story short I needed a new doctor and I found her. I am so happy I did. She was upfront with everything all my concerns were addressed and I knew what to be expected in the next visit. I am a person who likes structure. Is the office outdated? yes but nothing horrible. The care I received from that doctor took my high risk pregnancy fears and had them disappear or at least felt managed better.

on behalf of my daighter still sat at Silver cross ER as i type ———dr. Bush is beyond rude! she never returned two emergency calls. hours later my daughter ended up at the ER where she was told to call her yet again by staff - she yelled at my daughter, well your in the ER let them check you and said follow up with a cardiac doctor.,she also said she called her back but it just rang,, no messages left and thats 100% untrue —- my daughter has had miscarriages and is high risk- DO NOT SEE HER!

Her bedside manner is terrible. She dismissed my concerns as silly. One of her nurses was unprofessional and gossipped about a colleague within earshot of the waiting room. The exam rooms seem dirty and you have to carry your urine sample in an open container down the hall into your exam room. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Very rude hedside manner. Talked to me in a condescending way and pushes expensive, needless tests. Not at all like her father.
