Great care. Understood I had other issues very helpful with me waiting for my surgery. Explained options and details of surgical procedure. Team worked real quick to help with a discomfort issue took care of me in quickly on call. Great personality would recommend him to anyone.

Doesn’t sugar coat the issue and the resolution. From the results: very precision based surgeon who is genuinely concerned with positive outcomes for the patient. Very happy with results!

Dr. Bender is compassionate and explains to you in detail your condition. He gives you options but may include surgery. He also gives you a timeline on how soon you would need surgery before you have perinate damage.

Excellent experience not only with Dr. Bender, but with everyone……….the front desk was efficient, as was the nurse and the x-ray technician. I was in and out within about 40 minutes. The whole visit was quick and easy.

I needed a knuckle joint replacement and was very pleased that Dr. Bender would do the surgery, as a different physician had recommended fusing the joint, which seemed unnecessary to me. Hands are really complex! I knew what to expect after surgery and a realistic time frame for complete healing. My new joint is great and I am very grateful for Dr. Bender's skill and good care.

Dr. Bender gave me exceptional care when I fractured my wrist. He accommodated my travel schedule for both surgeries--one to place a plate and pins in my wrist and the other for a carpal tunnel release. He scheduled follow-ups and X-rays to make sure the healing was going well. Dr. Bender is a very skilled surgeon; he has a kind, caring manner. He listens to all concerns and was able to answer all questions that I had. I strongly recommend him to anyone who needs orthopedic hand or wrist treatment/care.

Great Doctor and great staff at Washington Orthopedic Center

Dr. Bender and his staff at the Washington Orthopaedic Center provided excellent care during my stay for hip repair surgery. All were very knowledgeable, professional, and caring, fully addressing all of my questions and concerns. Surgery was amazingly prompt after the injury, and the post-op visit fully explained the surgery and process to full recovery. Highly recommend Dr. Bender and the Washington Orthopaedic Center!

The care I received from Dr Bender was outstanding. He explained every step he was going to take to provide me pain free use of my wrist and hand. I am very happy with the results!

I have seen WA Ortho several times. I have felt listened to and have had wonderful care from Dr. Bender and his entire staff. Very professional, and caring staff. I highly recommend Wa Ortho over the other large Orthopedic group in Olympia. I did not feel like I was being rushed through my visits or surgeries. 10/10

There is another orthopedic outfit here in Olympia that I would NEVER go to, Washington Ortho is far superior in every way! I do wish they had spine/back docs but other than that, outstanding

Top notch care by Dr Bender and his assistants. All questions and concerns addressed in a caring respectful manner.

Dr Bender is thorough and direct. He has done 2 surgeries on my hands. I anticipate another surgery shortly and Dr Bender will definitely do that one too I have previously used this office for at least 5 other joint surgeries. The office is very efficient and they really take care of all the details that need to be addressed in timely and informative matter.

My initial wait time was minimal. I was able to get checked in and have x-rays rather quickly. I have seen Dr. Bender before - and I do return. He listens, analyzes, and then presents the possible treatments. We went with the injection routine rather than surgery. Hopefully there is some relief from the pain. We did set up a follow up in four weeks.

Presented options in a clear, concise and intelligible fashion. Very satisfied with my visit.
