Did my colonoscopy
Had my 10 year colonoscopy at Ridgeline Endoscopy Center. No issues. Dr Gonzalez explained the procedure, asked if I had questions and then spoke with me in recovery.

Goes the extra mile
Dr. Gonzales listens to his patients. Thinks outside the box and finds solutions that meets the patient’s needs. I’m so glad to be a patient at his office. It doesn’t matter if I see him or the PA’s I’m treated with respect.

Best doctor
As a patient of doctor Gonzales for 10 years, I would always recommend him. He truly cares. For the reviews that give a 1 star rating for him being too busy is ridiculous. That means he is good and that he is doing something right. Sorry you have to wait for an appointment with someone worth your time.

Still working on a treatment but very impressed
Dr. Gonzales has been treating me for ulcerative proctitis. Each time I have had a flare, the staff has been very accomodating in getting me an appointment almost immediately with his very competent Physician Assistants who then confer with him. As my condition has progressed, he has been meeting directly with me. He has patiently answered all of my questions, explained options, is conferring with another of my doctors to coordinate treatment and follows up/calls when he says he is going to. I always feel that he has my best interests at heart and trust his decisions for my care.

I got called back to my room and was having my initial check in by Dr Gonzales's nurse, before she even finished, he walked in and without even asking me a question, told me I has IBS. [He determined this by looking at my history before he walked in] He spent 2- minutes with me and left to write up a list of medicines to take. Turns out, I was totally misdiagnosed. I got another opinion and have severe distal diverticulosis with thickening of the distal sigmoid colonic wall. I also have signs of peritoneal carcinomatosis. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy to determine how bad things are. So glad I did not listen to Dr Gonzales.

I only met Dr. Gonzales a couple of minutes before my procedure. I had to do a multitude of tests, the results of which were not explained to me. I had to look on my patient site and figure out the results for myself. His NP and a physician in training overseeing my procedure were more interested in me than he was. He told me my months of digestive issues, rapid weight loss and debilitating pain were because I hit myself in the abdomen with a shopping cart.

I've had Crohn's disease for several years and have seen four doctors over this span of time. Dr. Gonzales is a very kind man, however his practice is not run efficiently. The staff is near impossible to get in touch with and they don't seem to be concerned with me or any patient specifically. I understand that they see many patients, however there is no individuality or concern with each patient. I am not impressed with the medical care given to me.

I saw Dr. Gonzales for about six months. It takes at least two months to schedule an appointment. He refused to listen to any of my concerns. I saw him a total of five times including a colonoscopy. The last time I saw him I was still very sick and bleeding, Dr. Gonzales insisted that I was healed and would have to just deal with my bleeding and diarrhea.

I took my sweet mother, suffering from Alzheimer's, to Dr Gonzales upon recommendation of another GI specialist, who did not provide the sedation options that Mom needed. We were beyond pleased with Dr Gonzales' thoroughness, professionalism, honesty and kind bedside manner. Our appointments were never over until all our concerns were answered to our satisfaction. Additional office staff were just as kind & competent! He was worth the wait. His FNP & office staff were great to respond interim!!

Very hard to get hold of staff if you have any medical questions or concerns. They usually get back within 48 hours. Very difficult to get appointments with Dr. Gonzales, you often have to wait several weeks or a month to get in to see him, even if you need more immediate help.
