First Visit
Being new to Tucson, I was looking for an orthopedic DR. Met Dr. Hills and truly liked him. Knowledgeable, he listened and laid out a plan that I thought was sensible. So happy I found him.

I’m 7 weeks out from my knee replacement.
I couldn’t be more happier with Dr. Hills and his staff through this very difficult surgery. He couldn’t be more attentive, great listener!!! After seven weeks the outcome is looking great.

Highly Recommend Dr. Hills
Dr. Hills was recommended to me by 2 others for his robotic knee replacement. I had my right knee replaced in Oct. 2022, and my left knee in Feb. 2023. Dr. Hills was so attentive, explained well, and I am now hiking 4 - 5 miles with hiking poles even on Utah's Slickrock and Colorado's talus hopes.

First Time Patient!
Took a fall 9 weeks before coming in to see Dr. Hills. He listened thoroughly to my complaint before he began his exam of my knee (previous knee replacement in 2012). He explained things to me and my husband in layman's terms, then advised of his findings and recommendation. Very personable , young doctor. Felt comfortable with his recommendations when he assured me my implant was unaffected by the fall, and that I was looking at several months before the large hematoma I suffered would be absorbed into my body.

Great 'bedside' manner, best of care
Dr. Hills takes an honest approach with his patients. He is very caring, and combines that with great communication skills. Dr. Hills makes sure his patients understand everything, and has the patience to listen and respond with humor and professionalism. Excellent Knee Surgeon!
I had seen Dr. Hills several times & had cortisone injections that initially worked for me about 6 months. But then they weren’t lasting as long & I decided it was time to have my knee replaced. Dr. Hills reviewed my X-rays with me & my husband then explained how the surgery is done. He answered all of my questions & I got scheduled. They did a CT scan so that they could be precise with my replacement. The surgery wasn’t bad & really wasn’t very painful. The swelling & bruising below my knee was the worst part. I was faithful with elevation, ice packs & physical therapy. It took about 2 weeks for me to get that under control. Dr. Hills did a great job on my knee & I highly recommend him.

Best Knee Replacement Surgeon
Best decision ever to have Dr Hills replace my knee. A tough first 3 weeks, but my knee is now amazing. I’m planning to get my other knee done with Dr Hills in a few months. You can barely see the scar. All of the staff where I get physical therapy were amazed at my scar. They say it’s the best they’ve ever seen. Also, don’t skimp on the physical therapy. If you want the best results, keep with it as long as your insurance will cover you.
